What ramen tastes the most like this?
My Indian neighbor owns a grocery store and hooks me up with these for free, but apparently they have lead in them so I'm gonna stop eating them.

Do you actually attempt to make ramen on your own instead of instant?

What are some zero effort nutritionally complete foods you can buy in bulk and eat indefinitely without having to cook or prepare food?

I mean shit like eating straight peanut butter, cooking oil, packets of ramen noodles, etc.

ITT eating/cooking habits other people have that you find particularly egregious/offensive

>heating/defrosting stuff in the microwave still in the package or on a plastic or styrofoam plate
>breaking spaghetti in half before you boil it

>fucking cutting spaghetti or other long pasta into bite-size chunks as they eat it
My stepdad does this and I find it absolutely bewildering. Like you might as well be eating hamburger helper dude

I've also known idiots who drained ramen after they cooked it, with or without adding the seasoning packet first, and other idiots who break the noodle block things into pieces before they cooked it.

>heat up a couple of cans of this in a pot
>"oh no sorry, I can't eat that it's too unhealthy"
>Fine, whatever, welcome them to my veggie drawer to make a salad and they have a salami sandwich

>they're just making a huge pot of Maruchan ramen packets

I don't get it

Drying scallops and shrimps for ramen dashi.
I will be doing it in a good oven(my parents but dont remember the brand)
Using a guide that uses a dehydrating machine.
Should i tweak the recipe a bit? In thd recipe with the dehydrator instructions are 57 degrees for 12h
My oven has a min of 10 degrees and i can use the air function. Im putting around 100$ of scallops/shrimp so i cant have this fail.
Im thinking of waking up every few hours to open the door for a bit so it wont be humid inside.
Any anons with oven drying experience tips appreciated

I walk to the grocery store so I can only carry so much. a typical load is eggs, bacon, bread, butter, sausage and sauerkraut, canned soups, tuna, mac n cheese, ramen. breakfast is usually my big meal and I'm getting tired of it. I like simple to prepare meat + side meals (sausage and sauerkraut, hamburger and beans, fishstick w mac n cheese). what are some similar meals you enjoy that I should try? also, I don't have a microwave so fresh meat only works for one meal which is not ideal. thanks so much everyone but not seagram's guy fuck him.

I like how you can go to a grocery store and buy raw foods that you can eat without cooking.

My faves: minced beef, fried chicken, pork and beans, ritz crackers, bacon, potato chips, deli sliced ham, instant ramen noodles, hot pockets, and popcorn.

Anyone else find pho really underwhelming?

I understand that it's a light soup but man it just does nothing for me. I keep looking for flavor and not finding it. Maybe I'm just a saltaholic but I don't know why anyone would have pho when they could have ramen.

Realizing that I don't have to buy the expensive, fancy ramen; I can just trick out Maruchan.
Anyone else realize this?
Here's the recipe, by the way: https://www.budgetbytes.com/vegan-creamy-mushroom-ramen/.. I'd recommend mixing in the coconut milk as it's boiling.

After finally moving out, my recipe repertoire has shrunken dramatically. Cooking for one person is a completely different game than cooking for a family, and I've basically been reduced down to a handful of dinners.

>Rice+Canned Tuna (soy sauce+scallions+radishes)
>Rice+Teriyaki Chicken (and onions+peppers)
>Rice+Canned Chili
>Pasta+Chicken (and jarred Alfredo Sauce)
>Chicken Fajitas (and onions+peppers), also used to make Quesadillas
>Ramen+Chicken (scallions+radishes)

And a side salad of lettuce, peppers, radishes, scallions, and tomatoes with Italian dressing if there's not enough vegetables in the main dish.

I used to cook long, time-consuming dishes like Hunters's Stew, Chicken Tikka Masala, and even used to do a bit of baking, but now it's a basic rotation of six dinners, with most dinners lasting three days. It's mostly out of laziness, and since I'm not cooking for anyone except myself I just make what I think tastes good, but I'm scared of getting stuck in a rut.

There's a world of recipes out there, but most of them are dumb "add avocado and honey to your oatmeal" slideshows or "I hope you put aside six hours to make some wet garbage" meals, so I'm wondering what all the other bachelors have in their rotation of meals.
