>lose the challenge
>part of my suggestion for october gets picked
It's like I won after all. Sort of.

I wish Numbaz would've gone with the whole suggestion which was Mexican-inspired cooking that's NOT served with tortillas. I'm still sticking to my guns and scoring low on goal and creativity any entry that just gets food X and puts it on/in/with a tortilla. Unless the tortilla is homemade, maybe. Also low score if you just get taco fixings and serve it on a bowl of rice.

Mexican-inspired, then? Rather than muh authenticity.
You can shove anything into a tortilla and call it Mexican. I just wanna see typically Mexican ingredients and flavours utilised in non-tortilla ways, is all. Though I think I'd detract points for simply taking typical taco fixings and just shoehorning it onto a bowl of rice or something.

My suggestion for next month even though Numbaz said 'i already have an idea for next month lol' is Mexican dishes that do not include any sort of tortilla. Thoughts?

Genuine question. I've never been there so I have no idea how it works or how/why it differs from the various *chans. With all the flack it gets here, I guess I should see what all the fuss is about but, AFAI understand, you have to sign up or something to use it and I don't sign up for things because reasons.

Where? Cuz Numbaz certainly ain't say that shit in the old thread anywhere.
Also, I'm not sure I know how reddit even works having never been there, but as you've clearly some intimate knowledge of its machinations, would you mind explaining it to us luddites, please? Thanks.

I've been wondering the same. Is Numbaz kill? RIP in peas, Numbaz.

When I first moved to my area, there was a place doing bacon cheeseburger pizza. It's been so long that I'm not sure I quite remember it correctly, but I think it had no sauce on the crust, had ground beef all over it, topped with American cheese shreds and, on top of the cheese, there were pickle slices, fried onions and bits of bacon. Once out of the oven, they topped it with bits of chopped tomato, chopped onion and shredded lettuce then squirted all over with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. That shit was delicious, but no one does it around here anymore.
I'm sure I'm gonna make one at some point in the future.

1. Proved.
2. Deflated.
3. Flattened.
4. Spinach sauce.
no 5 lol
6. Cheap smoked cheese (provolina sarda affumicata)
7. Pulled garlic chicken.
8. Blanched purple cabbage.
9. Baking.

Spinach sauce pizza with smoked cheese, garlic pulled chicken and
purple cabbage. And a pint of chestnut beer.
Not including the drink, this cost about $3.13 worth of ingredients to
make and this pizza is two servings, so fairly economical, if time
consuming to make the sauce and topping.
Leftover spinach sauce and pulled garlic chicken will find other uses
during the next several days.

7. Proved.
8. Deflated.
9. Kneaded and resting again.

When I'm not feeling well and my issues are flaring up, I can't cook things to post unless I wanna cut off a finger or burn myself somehow, so I have to take things a little more slowly than most posters do, sorry.

Funny enough, as I was making the spinach sauce, I was simultaneously cooking qeema on the next burner, so Pajeet would've been proud, actually. And not to the garbage, no.

>>9424478
Indeed. Two different slops which I believe will be wholly delicious once combined.

Most of my microwave use goes either to blanching veg or reheating leftovers. Those are fine uses, I'd think.

Reduced out and deglazed and reduced out and deglazed and reduced out again. Three total times. This makes it possible to caramelise onions in 10ish-15ish minutes.
