Someone keeps writting "women pay for porn". That maybe true but most of the pictures in this thread us of g a y men. So no women arent going to pay to hang up their pics. These cosplayers are taking pucs for men cause thats their audience. So they are competing with av stars who pist pics for free. Come on there are about 2 g a y posters going back and forth in this thread.

I think having a collab category would be a good idea at that point. have a larger prize that a team splits & see who makes the best costume with everyone playing to their strengths. it would probably produce some amazing results, without individual cosplayers getting shafted

but really, that post was mostly in response to the person who says they have multiple styles. I /do/ wear lolita outside of cons, but I also wear other non-jfashion styles in my free time because I LIKE them. I get that it makes other Lolita's feel iffy when someone only ever wears a style to a con. but some people in the thread were starting to imply that if you wear anything other than lolita when you aren't under duress somehow makes you not apart of the culture? which is ridiculous.

I mostly included the word "casual" so people knew this wasn't a "daily lolita" livejournal thread. if people want to make this about casual lolita, that's fine. but I personally wear "boring" coords regularly and wanted a thread to talk about what people wear regularly (not to cons/meet ups/etc). it seems like there was a bunch of talk about this kind of thing elsewhere on the board too.

if people want to make this about casual (cutsews, non lolita pieces, etc) that's fine too :)
