I just like defending. Shields arent a big thing at the one i go to. Theres about 5 people with shields out of about 30 people. Claymore sword types are the most popular as they can swing any way (and theyre light) so you can just mash anywhere and you pretty much win.

Aight folks I'm out of school and my tests are the last thing I need to do. So in prep for my descent into this world again I plan on a shield. I'm making a defender. Any pictures on armor or tips on playstyles would be great. A SHIELD however is the key part.
I need the largest shield possible for my larp (I'll look up the limit in a second) and a weapon. Thoughts?

That's exactly what I want. But sadly the laced shirt is so light you can see my skin through the shirt. Not to mention my black as coal chest hair

Well, it's 2 shirts. The collared short and the open shirt. The open shirt would be turned into the vest. The collared undershirts sleeves would be kept. Does that change your ideas or no?

I'll be finding a belt sometime soon.
Considering cutting the top shirts sleeves off and making it into a vest. That way I get the nice coat feeling with the half unbuttoned undershirt and I lose a layer of sleeve that may make it a little less cluttered
also, pants color suggestions?

Hadnt heard of warhammer til i think, 2 years ago? as a tabletop game. I played starcraft 1 for the very first time late last year.

And it you should know as i know, that the Space Warhammer designs were not meant for badass, they were meant to be needlessly brutal. Same with the orks n everything. They are incredibly 90's design

I'm cutting leather strip for my weapon from a patchwork leather bag I found in an Op shop on the weekend. De stitched the zipper and the vinyl attached by candle light so it's just the leather now
