Do you already have a sewing machine? You can get embroidery only machines but I've only seen ones that have really small hoops so they're kind of useless or have a decent hoop size but such a big price tag that I think why not buy a hybrid machine then you also get a good sewing machine for the same price. Unless you're talking about multi needle machines but those aren't for beginners and good luck finding one of those for $1000. A good hoop size to look for at the minimum is 5x7 inches. 4x4 is too small in my opinion. Sorry wont be replyibg again because of 4chans stupid captcha
