Also.. dunno if I should give this local tidbit away, but if you hop on the 1 bus, over the river to Central Square, there is an H Mart Asian market right there. Just hit that up on the way to the Pru to meet friends attending and working at the con today.

Huh. Did not know they had one down there. Was just around there the other day.

Might attend the con tomorrow, but probrably be meetings friends elsewhere. Just want to say that might be a good place as it is far enough from the con and, judging from the one in Allston, might have decent space.
Ha Ha. Just looked up to see someone taking a photo in front of where I was sitting... and it was of a guy dressed as Gendo. I really should finally do one myself. Been saying it with friends since I saw Eva in high school in the late 90s.

You forgot how a million Doctor Who and Supernatural and Sherlock are fine but Batman and Deadpool and Hellboy are not.

Though I have been seeing a ton of comic cosplay at anime cons. Now it's even more than anime cosplay I see at comic cons.

Years ago I thought it would be hilarious to do that. Thought about running around as 66 Batman or Rorschach or The Question. Now it's common as hell.

Sadly, most of the decent masks are insanely priced at like a few hundred dollars. Could make one for a fraction of that cost.
