Thank you :D but desu, I just bumble along, having no clue, and luck out. The cosplayers are fantastic, I just do what I enjoy and hope it works out. You would not believe the number of takes I did which were rubbish, out of focus, or involve me tripping on my shoelaces and nearly falling over. I haven't touched a camera for filming in about 3 years, but I did try to do a bit of research beforehand. We were incredibly lucky it got as many views as it did!

To be quite honest, and believe that or not, I posted my name because I don't want to pull this "err actually I heard ____ and no I'm totally not this person, I'm an anon" business that leads to rumours and heresay. I'm stated my part of the situation. Secondly, I haven't pushed my brand or solicited custom. The last cmv was posted on facebook, not youtube - actually Kyle's suggestion. It doesn't earn any ad revenue or anything. I have actually changed the name of the page for obvious reasons, and I haven't mentioned it here. I'm not after custom - I'm trying to inject a bit of transparency into this swirling quagmire. I don't know what I did to rustle your jimmies. I have never made money of comicon shoots, nor do I intend to. It's a Holiday. I go, take pics, practice skills I rarely use outside con, get pretty drunk and hang out with friends. Come meet me at con and have a drink, I literally would be delighted.

I personally have no influence over the police report issue. Beth has told me that she has reported it, and I believe her. From what I know, the officers were meant to come to see her, but were postponed. As I'm sure you can imagine, the Met are under alot of strain, and 2 police officers could easily be pulled off the case to deal with a higher priority issue in London.
Beth made an offhand comment in November. Iapproached her and asked if there was something I should know, and she told me in broad strokes what happened. I knew there was bad blood between Beth and Kyle and his circle, and that there were strong accusations of lying against her by them. When I asked him, he flatly denied it.

I was conflicted as I hadn't seen proof, and at that time, despite issues with his ego and gaslighting behaviour, I couldnt see how my friend could be a rapist. A womaniser, yes, but a rapist? Then later in November, one of his latest victims told me what had happened to her - while nothing non-consensual happened in the bedroom, he had quickly proven to be manipulative and coercive, and she had gone along out of fear. I saw the screengrabs. I saw evidence of his predatory, threatening behaviour, quite at odds with the man I thought I knew. The whole facade crumbled then. I informed others of what I knew (the facts, and nothing but) and they contacted beth and she told us, in graphic details, his actions. We had to delay dropping the bomb as his latest victim was petrified of him, especially as he had threatened to show up on her doorstep if she didnt agree to meet with him. We waited until she left the country to go home for christmas, then all blocked him, and beth released her status.
concerned that, sensing that he was betrayed, he might do something to her.

All in all, my knowledge of the accustations lasted a month. From getting proof of his cheating to him being outed - about 1.5 weeks.

While I had issues with him, I'm not ashamed to admit that I had no idea. Yes, he was brash, egotistical, infuriatingly arrogant and headstrong, but I thought that he was just insecure and compensating for it. I looked up to him tremendously, he was something of a role model to me, as I was very socially awkward, anxious all the time, afraid to approacvh people to ask if they wanted to film, and he had an effortless way of engaging people and its why we worked well as a team. He was a trusted friend, and when the house of cards came tumbling down and I saw what lurked inside, I was devastated. I havent slept properly in 2 weeks. I've cried. And now Im just angry. Several people have been astonishingly brave and come forward, with evidence I might add, to help take him down. His time has come. I'm sick of people getting away with their reps in ruin, but nothing else. This will send a message.

Speaking from experience, and having seen proof of his surprisingly cunning and manipulative interactions, I can assure you he's very good at a) abusing you, b) making you feel bad for feeling bad and c) using leverage or guilt to swear you to secrecy. My friendship with him was characterised by frequent occasions of me having an issue with him and him subtly turning it into a situation where I felt like a shitty friend for objecting to his shitty behaviours. Yeah, I wasn't strong then. But I aim to be nothing but firm now. I am truly sorry that happened to you. When was this, if you don't mind me asking? It makes my blood boil to think of it. He always banged on about integrity and honour and respecting women. I know his gf, I was a guest in their home. They had a wonderful relationship and he lied over and over. I contacted her this morning to let her know what I knew in preparation for Beth's Denouement, and she subsequently kicked his ass out. Good riddance. He spread alot of misinformation about her in our friend circle, who already disliked her for separate reasons, to keep them hating on her and protect himself from scrutiny. I have a feeling that alot of the stories about her have been fabricated.

The police report is down to the girls involved - I have a personal friend who works for the police and they advised me that while this may not lead to a conviction, it can be used as intelligence against him if he ever puts his foot out of line. From what I heard, and indeed it is just word against word, someone has already filed a report against him that was dropped for lack of evidence.

I fully understand and even encourage a skeptical approach in all things - people glossing over shitty behaviour is exactly how he got away with it. But I can say that I've seen evidence of his deception, trickery and shocking lack of conscience. I always had issues with Kyle, but recently evidence came out that, at the very least, he had been serially cheating on his gf for at least a year with 3-5 girls by telling them he was single

The more serious allegations include coercion, sexual abuse, outright rape and sexual violence. I challenged him when I saw the hard proof of his infidelity to his gf, who I also know, and he not only refuted it, but also tried to make me feel like a piece of shit for doubting him.
