Tangentally, I'm also debating whether to keep both pairs. To begin with, I really only wanted the white, and bought the brown because I thought the orders were done. Neither have been worn yet, so maybe I'll put the brown up for sale. Hm.

Maybe I'm mixing up the releases then. I was watching the reservations for days waiting for it to open to international shipping, since it said it eventually would. I never saw the ready stock for the white go up and the pre-order said sold out, so I bought the brown on July 9th.

I got the white over a month later on August 16th.

Also, Mystic Animism is back up on Alice Books if anyone wants to buy it.

Whoa, lucky. Were you able to get them in the first order batch? I camped the site for days and by the time it said they were sold out before the international shipping opened. I was able to get white on the second round, but a lot of people didn't have the same luck unfortunately.

If it goes the way the last tights did, there should be more than one round of reservations, but if not, you may want to order through a shopping service. Those things sold out so fast the first time that only the brown colourway made it to an international shipping release. Second time was a bit less intense, but still sold out quickly.

I have yet to find any on mbok, actually. Every time I search, I get zero hits, no matter which terms I use. And now, Y!JA is getting filled up with custom costume makers, many of them hilariously using western cosplay photos as their examples. Makes me wonder if those girls bought from them, or if the seller really is as scammy as they appear to be.

You can also check Japanese auctions, but they tend to be at least double the price of the originals, leading to a cost of at least three or four times higher when you factor in shopping service fees and shipping.

There's also a seller who has been putting up the same few books recently who hopped accounts. They're rare ones, but not worth the risk. The first account used had a lot of negative feedback, saying the seller didn't ship things, and the more recent one has about 10 negatives? So be careful.

I haven't gotten around to finishing the scans of that book yet, as I plan on actually arranging the outfits on the dolls, which is a bloody pain in my ass. Anyway, pic related, the base for Gardenia.
