When not doing group, I'd choose to do more obscure characters usually. Part of that is from liking shows that aren't well known though, or choosing not to pick the main characters.

I like the idea of making a costume for something that hasn't been done, so you can't be compared to other people, or have people think you just copied another design.

I think by having less fabric behind the first layer of pleats on the bottom, and then more on the top.
It would look like triangles unfolded I think, and would alternate having more fabric folded on top, and bottom.

I tried to draw it. It's a lot easier to just try on a sheet of paper I think.

What wig would someone choose for this? (Alucard from Hellsing)
Annoyingly his hair is really ambiguous, and not consistent throughout the show.

I'd like to use "Epic Cosplay", and I've narrowed it down to a few ideas, but I've never styled a wig more than cutting bangs, and it might be stuffed under a hat a lot, so I'm not sure which to choose.
