I think I spent about 500$ at Sakura Con and I didn't even have a hotel. I don't even know what I spent the money on, I have a nagging feeling that I ended up spend more money on buying friends food than anything.

Being new the whole convention and cosplay thing has got me wondering what costs accumulate over the course of a Con.

I'm talking hotel, food and drink, cost of entrance, cost of costume and how much you spend on just random stuff.

TL;DR: How much do you pay on average.
