So... It was... Ok... Just okay. Which is a big success knowing the stereotipe of "Spainiards only know to make shit".

Was a good little con of 5 dollars entry. There was very few people, first because it had only two months to ptomote itself and it had the Japan Weekend only a month before, holiday season aside.

The groups had a good variety of things to do. I decorated a box and painted a mask, had some fun playing smash and rhythm games, and played Cards Against Humanity.

Also, the food stand had good stuff and was sop good and really was so japaneses flavored i think i ended with a pixelated dick. Even then they said "Sorry, ramen is the only thing that isnt true japanese here" when asked.

Let's just get the idea that this was Nippon's first big con en Madrid without being aided by Jointo. The problems where just the date and they announced it a little too late.

Also: Why would you bring a hentai creator? At least he had fun singing the song Porco Rosso on sunday.

So... It was... okay, price aside. Has potential. The only thing that was a problem was the weather and there was no heater but it was not as cold as the Japan Wekend a pair of years ago.

Llevo mucho tiempo insinuando que muchos cosplayers (no digo nombres) son cosplayers porque aspiran a ser modelos y confeccionistas de moda o así. Y fácilmente hacen cosplays sólo fijándose en el diseño y ya, para enviarle la foto por Twitter a los creadores de la serie o peli y que les den visibilidad. Si he visto en internet un cosplay de Indivisible cuando el juego no estaba ni financiado.

Con uno y dos de esos que hacen siempre cosplays guapos, hablé de videojuegos de los que iban y ambos me miraron con cara de "menudo friki, que deje de hablar de una vez". Osea, ¿vas de un videojuego y me miras con cara rara cuando te hablo de un juego del que vas? Creía que la gracia del cosplay era ir de un personaje que te gusta.

La élite o como mierdas sea ha convertido lo que era una afición divertida con la que haer un poco el gamba en un pase de modelos. Allá por el 2009 o así los concursos de cosplay eran divertidos porque iban gente que se notaba que iban gente que les molaba de lo que iban y lo pasaban en grande. Ahora... Bueno... Es hasta aburrido un concurso de cosplay. El último bueno que recuerdo es el de Monster Hunter de Expomanga y ya, más pro fanatismo hacia la saga que otra cosa.

Yeah, something like that. Announcements are pretty impossibledue to licensings and that they preffer to announces new things at Barcelona. In past years, Nintendo and Bandai Namco brought us games before release wich was cool for the people who dont go to MGW.

But in the recent years, the real content has been watered down, trying to make it more appealing but just boring as hell.

Like, most of the guests are cosplayers... And.. .Well... As lot of people say, they are cool to watch, but if they only go to show off and give a panel, well, that's not really appealing to the vast majority of the con-goers-

Also, youtubers... It's obvious that they are pretty cheap and give cache to the most teens, but they are coming o a ridiculous quota and they only do one or two thins. Also, the trend is going too downhill that one they my brother will be a guest.

AEAC are asking for suggestons to new activities and i already suggested them the Free Mic we talked some theads before, when they gave mic and scenario to whoever they wanted to go, to appear and tell jokes or sing in the free hours.

Authors is always a hard thing, cause they have agenda problems. Yeah, i would like Hiroiko Araki come to Madrid but it will surely prefer to go to BArcelona cause their airport is more international or is the nearest spanish train station from Paris. Jointo tried to bring some hentai artists... But... That's just a bit lame considering their work never released here.

For last, i will say that they should look to the activities the associations bring to their cons and try to make them so they dont have to depend of voluntary staff. Shit, like making a videogame tournament is pretty easy, a quiz, dumb karaoke, a dating space for desperate otakus...

The Burger King inside Ifema is more expensive than the normal one at only one Metro stop. Teally, you can compare. If you ever entered IFEMA, you will know that the prices of food there are airport wise, cause they know you cant go freely to a better place to eat, sou you are fucked up.

Yeah, that's the main point of costing 15€. You will pay for what? Jointo only has two fucking months to announce a lot of content, and it cant only be the "hurr durr cosplay teachings" and some random doujinshi artists. Maybe the ones that they hired in past events were worth the 7€ tag price, but 15€ for that, maybe not everybody will pay. Now they're entering the great league, and that implies a lot, but a real lot of content for their consumers, and we know how bad Jointo is making content for their consumers.

Lily James in that movie is not "fat". Cosplay i saw was pretty good and the girl pulled it nicely for her body type.

Movie was a even shittier adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's (or was it Grim brothers'?) just to please teens but okay to watch. Hope the Jungle Book is at least entertaining.

Another random question. Don't you hate that all of the music they use for stage (surelly, non consensual) is always Pamyu Pamyu and K-Pop of entry level? Like, i don't know, there are a lot of great music from lots of series from around the world (now, face it, jJapan only themed cons are scarce and Japan Weekend is way off), or videogames, or japanese groups, or indie groups... I could easilly add four hours of music to them just by looking the original versions of the songs in Cytus and Deemo and related works from the artists.
