I’m gonna take a break from the online communities for a while. No livejournal, tumblr, anything. I just got a part time job and my life has been so busy lately that I just can’t afford to be stressing about the internet.

Tripfagging is dumb and is in no way the same as filling in the name field in order for myself and others to identify me. This is much more secure and a foolproof way to make sure that my reputation is not damaged on 4chan.

I do not thrift all of my lolita outfits. Far from it. I own a few thrifted pieces. Most of what people are talking about was from when I was actually a noob, several years ago.

No, I was never going to make a video on the "right way" to be a lifestyle lolita. I was going to make a blog post on what my idea of lifestyle lolita is. It seems all of my words are being taken out of proportion.

The reason I put my name on /some/ of my posts is just as an identifier for myself. If I want to find if someone's responded to me, I search my name and my original comment comes right up.

If you think it's for promotion or something, it's not. If you type in my name on google, you don't even get my blog. You get my secondary youtube channel which is barely used and an old weheartit account.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to get a second opinion here. Secret #48 (pic related) was about me, and I wanted to know if anyone besides the secret posted thought I was being out of line with my comment? I'm only asking because I'd prefer not to offend anyone, I really don't want to become a person that everyone secretly hates, and I can't tell if this was just anonymous whining or a legitimate complaint. I am beginning to think someone (or several someones) just plain doesn't like me, as I've been getting a bit more anonymous insults lately.

So, this thread got me thinking. I consider myself a lifestyle lolita, and have considered myself that for the five years I've been wearing the fashion. It seems like the idea is really misunderstood. So, I was thinking of doing a series of blog posts explaining/exemplifying/debunking myths about lifestyle lolita.

Does that sound interesting to anyone? I'm concerned it would come of special snowflake-y, but I'd try my best to avoid that.

For me it's not pigeonholing, it's just wearing what I want and then trying to describe it. I wear a mix of sweet and classic most of the time, and when I describe it, I say that I tend to think of it as casual hime, like himekaji is to hime gyaru.

I think the descriptions people give can help a lot. For instance, we pigeonhole stores as well. Angelic Pretty is known to be sweet, Moitie is known to be gothic, etc. Technically though, you can find items from brands that would fit the other's style pretty easily. So in that way, we pigeonhole them into one style even when they don't just make one style. Personally, though, I like it, because I know I'm not interested in gothic lolita, so I wouldn't go out of my way to look at Moitie.

I hope that makes sense. I'm tired haha
