Cherub Calliope or Caliborn. I'm considering trying it out but I've yet to see someone get the nose area right.

Pic semi-related, I'm leaning on taking the nose and cheeks area of a Red Skull mask, painting that portion green and using latex.

It was a learning experience. It's pretty much my 2nd Sakura Con and about my 5th ever, and I guess I'm still trying to get a feeler for convention life. Surprises and disappointments abounded, the latter including missing the Matt Mercer signing line cap by 2 minutes. ;_;

Sat through an entire BESM and tried some Mahjong, had fun with you guys at the /cgl/ "meetup." Did a late night 18+ panel in character. Photoshoots, a couple more panels, yeah...

Then there was belting out "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" full falsetto in what was effectively a drag queen outfit, as well as happening on the Just Dance area when there was nobody there early Saturday morning and dancing to I Will Survive and Man After Midnight as Calliope.

Can't wait for next year.

I did make horns shaped more toward what was depicted in the comic but being a procrastinating fuckstick I kinda ended up jumping the gun before the model magic could "dry" resulting in the violent abortion pictured here. I also have access to that insulation foam from the hardware store so i'll try going with that next time.

Regarding the coat being two differente shades, I bought a coat with the pants as well as an extra similar-green-shaded thing to cut up, then attempted to dye it. The coat didn't turn out well but the pants did, fortunately there was a dark green coat I could find that complemented the pants.

Okay, I got that done. Apologize for the dirty bathroom mirror selfie. The makeup etc. for this one was a bit of a rush job because I switched out of another cosplay for a panel and the shitty cufflinks disintegrated on the way out.

I'll laser-cut some new ones when the laser cutter at my college gets replaced ersumshit.

I'm going to be spray painting both of them white these evening but I'm wondering which one would fit my Calliope cosplay better?

For reference, the orange gun is about 14"

Two different styles of cufflinks(?) for my Calliope. Larger ones are ~1".

I was going to laser-cut acrylic for them but the laser cutter at my college took the opportunity to fuck itself over the day before I went.

I'm more partial to the thinner ones...
