The difference being work/civilians.
I really want to change my style of civilian clothes and makeup. It's starting to seem like tshirts and jeans aren't cutting it anymore.

I think people are looking at 'professional' jobs as just being in an office.
Perhaps it's just that the Army has different standards of tattoo acceptability, but the most 'professional' ncos and officers I know have tattoos. My captain does, my first sergeant does, nearly every nco I have any level of respect for has a tattoo. These are the men I'm deploying with so I sure as shit hope the number of tattoos they have doesn't directly effect their professionalism.

ON THE FLIP SIDE, I hate to see people with tattoos sticking out of their uniform. Face/neck/hand tattoos are a little much for me.
