this is a terrible idea.
this is something you do if you're in a pinch at an event, like, not something you should do regularly at all.

if you're having trouble with eyeliner smudging
it's best to find out why it's smudging, is it from your eyes being watery? lids being oily? the eyeliner itself? and take care of that.

>>6734021
no, it's fine to layer, best if the BB cream is on bottom.
and in fact there is no evidence at all to support that things like tinted moisturizer and BB cream are any less clogging to your pores than things like liquid or cream foundation. so it's not in anyway different.

Kat Von Ds lightest shade is almost too light for me, i mix it with the shade darker because i'm insane. but i have not met many people who are more pale than i am so maybe look into that ~

> Have you tried any new products recently?
lashes from Walmart, and skin79 BB cream.
the lashes don't look as good on me as they did on my friend
the BB cream is great, but i doubt i'll use it enough to get any decent skin improvement out of it
oh well
> Have you got anything you need help on?
highlighters for really pale people?
one from too faced is nice, but i have it in a pallet and would feel dumb buying it to have it singularly
> What do people always get wrong?
i feel like eyebrows are a big one

i need more than that, there are thousands of mascaras and foundations. i'm asking for the most basic of basics to narrow it down- like- you can at least give me that yeah?

however, if you have long lashes and you are having trouble finding a mascara you like i know i can recommend Urban Decay Big Fatty.
because people with long lashes don't complain about them unless they're really thin
i know because i have crazy long lashes but they are soooo sparse. stupid lashes
Givenchy's mascara is also super awesome
but Big Fatty is better- it's just a bitch and a half to get off
Lash Gasm is also really good
and... Buxom's is okay.
you want an applicator that is like, the plastic kind with little teeth. not the traditional spooley shape

anytime, anon. i have never seen lip erase in a MAC but they have it on the site like all the time, and tbh any nude shade lip pencil will do the same thing. just fill in your lips with it.

the only way to really know if any foundation colour is right for you is to try it out.
BB creams are made to correct yellow pigment though so you should be pretty safe

>> No.6715841 [View]

>>6715831
MAC makes tons of brown colours, they also make a product called Lip Erase that will take care of your highly pigmented lips. it's like concealer, but really really moisturizing since it's for your lips.

sheer, medium, build-able or full coverage?
and what kind of eyelashes do you have? long, short, thin, thick, hold curl well, don't hold curl well, limp, weak, strong, any descriptive word helps

also, drug store or high end?

oh, and a silicone is literally the 3rd chemical in this. which means it's the 3rd highest content.

Water (Aqua) , Cetearyl Alcohol , Dimethicone , Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine , Behentrimonium Chloride , Fragrance (Parfum) , Dipropylene Glycol , Lactic Acid , Amodimethicone , Potassium Chloride , Disodium EDTA , DMDM Hydantoin , PEG 8 , Propylheptyl Ether , Cetrimonium Chloride , Methylchloroisothiazolinone , Methylisothiazolinone , Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140) , Yellow 6 Aluminum Lake (CI 15985)

>Dimethicone
>Amodimethicone

if a word ending in "cone" is like, the second to last ingredient, it's not as big of a deal. but omg the third one.
so bad

it means your hair is porous, it soaks up a lot of moisture.

it does not mean it's dry, and don't use Aussie.

>>6715614
that's because the expensive shampoo is getting off all the crap and silicone from the cheap stuff. it takes a solid month for your head to readjust but it's worth it if you ever want to bleach your hair or anything more serious than the same color every month or so.

i mean, realistically, it doesn't matter what you do or what you use. very few people will have horror stories- but they can happen and prevention is the best medicine.
like chemical cuts are not just from what brand of hair color or lightener or perm or whatever you use- but what's in your hair. and those cheap shampoos will build you up on silicone and that shit is nasty
like again, that girl who was doing the hair curling tutorial. it was from the cheap product melting, not her hair melting.

>>6715615
lol
i remember this from when i was like- 11. i hated it.

>>6715620
i have never used it, but i have never heard anything good about any two in one products except for convince.
if you color your hair (or do anything chemical) at all though i don't recommend it.

>>6715635
Dove is awful. so much silicone
the reason your hair feels good is because it's literally being encased in silicone, and dying inside of that coating.

if you HAVE to go drug store, and i understand that i do, just go through the ingredients and avoid anything with any word ending in "cone".

i mean, i know what's in it is amazing for your hair and there is very little that can do better for your hair
but i didn't like how it felt regardless

just not for me
lol

i haven't tried davines, and i haven't heard anything about it either.

>>6715465
i'm using Redken's... golden bottle. can't remember what it is though, the name. i know it's like a basic moisture whatever- nothing for any specific problems since i just have all black hair.
it's really nice, i like it fine, my hair feels amazing even with no product in it
but my hair sucks regardless of what i use. thank god for hair extensions.

>> No.6715441 [View]

>>6715433
that's from all the silicone in it.

you know that video of the girl who tried to curl her hair and it "melted" off? her hair didn't melt, the silicone covering it did.
i get shivers just thinking about it.

>>6715423
what color is your hair and what do you do to it? bleach, color, perm, relaxer, etc?
Pureology is like the holy grail of hair care for damaged in most peoples eyes, but it makes mine feel - too clean. like there's no oil in it at all and i like a bit of artificial softness to my hair.
Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi wild ginger shampoo and conditioner does the same thing to me.

i can't figure out why because everyone else loves it 10/10 would wash my hair with this forever status.

>> No.6715431 [View]

>>6715414
you can't fix split ends that are already there.
Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi styling treatment oil or Gloss Drops are both great for dry hair, the Awapuhi can be put in wet hair as well but Super Skinny is what you'd want if you want to put it in wet hair instead of Gloss Drops

Bed Head's Dumb Blonde is really really nice, dry hair only

Redken's serum is really nice- can't think of the exact name right now. wet or dry hair.

any serum or cream is basically okay. if you NEED drug store the Healthy Sexy Hair line is good, and so is Got 2b Glued. they have this line that's like pink and yellow bottles and is quite nice- but i don't really know what is in it ingredient wise. but i used it for a very long time and my hair is really healthy so- lol

Sally's has fine sheers, just only cut your hair with them. nothing else. no paper, thread, nothing at all.

lol i came across this when looking into BB cream stuff

http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/archives/2010/10/19/2003486039

this is one of the main chemicals people are weary of when it comes to BB cream, one of the whitening ones
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydroquinone

still looking but like, i feel showing "why acne fighting/skin bleaching products are bad for your eyes" would be better.

it doesn't "react" different. it does the same thing. but because the skin around your eyes is more delicate it is damaging.

FOR YOUR EYES
IT IS BAD
FOR YOUR EYES
THE SKIN AROUND YOUR EYES
ONLY THE EYES

how can i make this anymore clear?
it is only damaging to the skin around your eyes.
eyes only
just the eyes.

>>6713119
no.
unless you have a negative reaction to it it's fine for the rest of your skin.
i really like Tarte's tinted moisturizer, it's the nicest i've found and comes in many colours.

acne preventing chemicals are bad for the skin around your eyes
like, isn't that just common sense?

the idea of BB cream is great, i really like it and will start using it really soon.
it's just bad for your eyes
and bitches have different colored faces from their body
that's all i said was bad about it

Gossmakeupartist talked about this, maybe i can find his video.

>>6713117
sadly there is no fool proof anything for break outs, everyone has different skin and different reactions. you need to just keep trying until you find something that works.
:c
but if the oil free stuff breaks you out maybe it's the lack of moisture that's the problem?

>BB cream was meant to take care of skin to reduce issues like blemishes and redness
>reduce issues like blemishes and redness
>What ingrediants speeds up the aging process

you answered your own question. it's the ones that are in there to reduce blemishes and redness.
on the face it's fine, but not on your eye area. the skin around your eyes is the thinnest and most delicate. and everyone i have seen that uses BB cream puts it all over their face and it makes me cringe. just a makeup pet peeve. and they all get defensive about it- i just don't get it.
i can look up exact ingredient names if you want.

coastal scents is good, to be honest. like the color pay off is way more than enough for day to day looks.
for highlighters, get a nude tone shimmer eyeshadow and use that. they work really well. you don't need a high color pay off either so like anything works.

concealer is one of the things i recommended not to skimp out on, but if you need cheap l'oreal tends to be my go to for drug store.

>>6713051
i'm like, literally professionally trained in skin care
i don't see how it's hard to understand that i know what is in BB cream and what it does after prolonged use. like years and years and years. a year or two of aging wont hardly make a different, it's 5-10+ years down the line that you need to think about.

i'm not saying don't use BB cream, in fact i actually said i am buying BB cream to use on the daily.

i'm just saying don't be ignorant and use it right.
