Canadian here, for all the conventions I went to, Hotels only near the conventions centres, from what I saw

At my last convention, we had two rooms, 8 people. It costed 75$ per people, tax include. (Winter time, and the Hotel had a indoor passage to go the convention centre.

Hey seagulls, haven't seen a thread like that in a while.
When you are booking an Hotel for a convention:

>How many roomates per room?
>What are you looking for when you book an hotel room for the con?
> Which items are necessary for you?.

I always bring an Icebox full of food (Convention food gets expensive) And full bottle of Shampoo and Body Wash (Incase roomates forgets it.
No parties in my room, staffing enough the conventions in my area to deserve a good six hour of sleep.

I organized a few con trips, and it' always 4 per room for me.

So what are your hotel habits, /CGL/, share your good bad stories too!

Little update to certain people

As english is my 3rd language, and the non-latin one, i'm really shitty with english grammar and syntax. I've had help to write my orginal post, as N is more fluent than me in english. And I know some of you are grammar nazis.

Our con trip group, is made of people from the same animeclub, but the trip group itself, is not related to the anime culb itself, as we organized it as friends. and we do not have any higher ups, or any regulation except our trust to each other.

As for people say we are bullies, probably, we are not all white. But as N said, we've had enough of that crazy behavior.

For people who complains about N and me, we challenge you to have a weekend with her. You,d understand us.

It's not a petty drama when all the group is concerned and that people were hurt by her sayings.

Our trip organizer stays neutral, for sure but he clearly told everyone that he is wairing for her to dropout.

We confronted her about the issues with EVERYONE concerned.
She didn't even listen to us, and gave very crappy excuses to K, L M, and N (probably was jealous of M getting attention while she doesn't, and the two friends). We all did not believe her excuses to be genuine.
Others things about her is that she believes she has a wolf totem (native american beliefs, which I respect alot) But she fakes it, and goes as far as howling at the moon like a wolf in public, and other similar ridiculous weaboo-like behavior.

As for last year trip, everything went somewhat well, because she was placed in a room with last-minute people added on the trip (though they later complained about her).But this year the group is full, and again she is in, but we don't want her. And EVERYONE in the group (the 23 of us) wants her kicked out, but the trip organiser/leader refuses to kick her out without a valid reason.
M and K, along with me, want to talk to her to convince her to leave the group, and give her place someone else who wants to join.
So, /cgl/, what are your thoughts about this? Should we talk her into dropping out, or find another solution?

Hi seagulls.

Long story short, there is a huge problem with an organized con trip for a convention.
Each year, our club organises a trip to this convention. We were 12 the first year, but we are now a large group of 24 people. However, this year we have a problem with one specific person in the group, we'll name her A. Last year, there was several issues with A, as talking in the back of almost every people in the group. She called the nicest and sweetest girl (named M in this thread) of our group a slut. She also went batshit insane on two of her childhood friends (K and L) (who are also part of the group)
She also became a crazier yaoi fangirl (she always was one, but went nuts about it), and stalked three guys who are on the trip. One of the guys, (let's call him N) was really frustrated with being stalked.
She also insulted me for always saying in my back that I would never get anyone because I'm too ugly.
