I used to be in a cosplay group/trio (Banana Cats.. yes it was a dumb name) but my two friends had a drama catalyst and tried to make me take sides. I nope-d out of there and they refused to hang out so that ended that.
It was really fun while it lasted and was great to have a group already made and we all would usually fill the "stereotype" of the characters.

After that I stopped cosplaying for awhile because of $$ but now I want to cosplay and it sucks to not have anyone to sew with/ plan things/ geek over stuff about. I keep trying to get people to cosplay with me via facebook but it doesn't work very well lol

I want to cosplay Robin Sparkles from How I Met Your Mother but I am having troubles finding a proper wig.
The texture is very coarse and it seems to go from quite blonde to light brownish depending on different pictures/lighting

and yeah the fabric is pretty brash so if your going for whimsical if you really like it and dont want to get rid of it you could maybe try adding some lace/chiffon/thin drapey material on top of it. Also consider getting new sheets
Also if you first focus on organization & storage of your stuff you'll have a great base to build your room on. I would also consider putting the old stuffed animals away and adding cute stuff or maybe some string lights under the bed frame & above the window.
But yeah thrift stores are your friend if your going for an antique light theme, if your cool with maybe painting stuff.

get some white trim and paint it a cream colour and add some "weathering" if you feel so inclined.
also your mirror looks pretty rough, consider getting one (from a thrift store or something) with a frame you can paint and you can add stuff like this for style (pic related)

ok your room looks a bit juvenile, so Im assuming you want to keep it "cutesy& light themed".
first off, you should paint all the walls the same colour. "accent walls" are hit and miss and your room is pretty small so it will help open it up. Maybe a nice light colour (baby blue), nothing super bold.
I agree, get rid of the posters and junk from your walls but maybe put in some more shelves to display a little bit of collectables. Also get rid of the hanging blue thing and the blue and white stripy thing.
The couch & battle station is fine, maybe add some pastel pillows for the couch
Storage i'd get something not plastic. You don't want to see the outline of the junk shoved in them so maybe something like these
