I'm just curious because I wanted to go party, but I'm being told it's at some disney hotel where Kill la Kill cosplay is being shoo'd away and there's no partying?

Shamelessly selfposting because this is my first cosplay in years and I made it in like 2 days. I wore it at Wondercon. Can't wait til the Valyrian Steel sheath comes out, because mine was balls and made things heavy, unbalanced, and pull at everything. Also because it's been so long since I've cosplayed, I'm not even sure I've selfposted any cosplay on here.

I was really proud of it because it's real leather and the cape is wool and I pulled it off for less than $200 by haggling and repurposing leather. I learned a lot though, especially about where I need to fix things (get the collar to stand up, find a wool rug to tear apart for cape, curling iron is a must, don't wear it when it's not winter, etc).

But yeah, I loved wearing it so I'm mega stoked for cosplaying again at Fanime... just not gonna wear this, I would probably die.

This is just painful. Dude, it has Korean writing plain as shit on the package. It's hard to make that mistake (unless you're way too excited that you found it, ahem), but I did it when I spotted a 12 inch Cyborg Gai from GaoGaiGar. In the end I didn't give a shit because it was $15, still from the 90s, and still badass as fuck.But damn it was Korean. They do that with Super Sentai stuff too, and it's nearly still the same to and still works the same (except for the language/voices). Nothing like how they butchered the Gokaiger toys over here...

Geeze. You guys can fap, but you're really in need of help relationship-wise. Girls with big boobs/that look awesome only like dudes who aren't weird/creepy/disrespect them.

I did like once. Now I struggle with wanting to cosplay things I don't have the muscles for (Jojo).

Not even to mention the fact that I doubt most dudes would want to spend that kind of money on bras. I had a convo once where it was like "You don't know what it's like to spend money on things like this" and I fucking agree. Boobs are awesome, but in order to have awesome boobs you have to spend money the average person wouldn't have to/back pain.

Damn, boobs are crazy. I totally get why chicks don't even bother, because to me this shit seems complicated. I'm the type of guy who overanalyzes things and this is still nuts (and I still don't have a grasp on the process). That thing about comparable boob sizes totally threw me for a loop. My gf needs this appropriate sizing thing, but I totally see how she might be trapped in that loop of "IDGAF THIS SHIT IS CRAZY". If it was me, I'd be like "Damn this shit is crazy/expensive, I'll get the size that fits everything sorta well."

I know personally extremely attractive dudes that will look good no matter what they do, and they can't even get themselves to get an actual job or even feel like they have a purpose/do fucking ANYTHING to further themselves. Your perception of physical attractiveness is flawed. It doesn't get you everything. In actuality, it does grease the gears for those who want to advance, but the thing is: there have to be wheels to grease. The hardest thing for humanity for figure out is how to achieve recognition/popularity from one another. It's actually pretty simple because if you do something of quality that serves it's purpose, it will actually entertain people, therefor garnering attention. Nobody comes to you for anything unless you're that good, and pretty much nobody is unless they're famous (and there's a reason for that) or they put their whole lives into it. Not everyone can, though.

Bottom line is, dudes can't whore themselves out because not only is the market narrow, dudes don't know how to. Men are more susceptible to not knowing anything about how to attract the opposite sex. Most women I've met are very aware about how to attract, and if they aren't, they do it without knowing. It's that innate.


So basically, your point of view is lacking in depth based on the fact that I've witnessed several people of this type of both gender carry on. Dudes are just bad at selling themselves physically/controlling themselves sexually. It's clear based on everything seen.

Sounds like you're trying to make a dime into a euro. I say that because it isn't exactly related and you'd have to really sell your idea in order for it to even get past the first ask. As it is you'd have to really present your idea to a board/group of decision makers. To me, I would think they'd be alarmed at the issues and go for creating a safer convention environment rather than taking steps to cope with a bad environment. You are asking a group of people who are fans of anime to take steps via a free badge to prepare for rape/violence/suicide/etc when they are simply a 2-5 day convention and not a city, town, school, or anything of a more permanent nature. There are authorities in place in every city for a reason, and they can handle these situations just as well as anyone with a free badge.

TL;DR Hell no you fucking idiot, they have shit like that handled by the local authorities, which are abundant.
