Oooh nice work! Ever consider using a light smattering of silicone caulk to hide the joins on the chest piece and wherever you glued two pieces of eva together? It'll make the armor look like a single piece of metal if you do :D

So thanks to Decade I got me a pep file of Space Sheriff Shaider, which I had to heavily edit to where it would cut where I wanted it to. Finished putting it together, just need to plan out where to make the cuts and then it's off to resin this bad boy

Wow. Last person I expected. I always thought I got along fine with you, so what's your beef? You never gave me a straight up answer.

Ever consider anything from JoJo, Berserk, or Hajime no Ippo?

Seriously Jkid, stop. You're not fooling anyone by dropping trip.

Lol dude, Decade even introduced us and told the story about the liquor store. Unless I'm wrong about your identity, of course lol

Second meet was more or less pleasant aside from the Jkid incident. I do remember it more though because I was pretty sober. Still, it was nice to see everyone and to meet new seagulls.

I really don't have anything against him personally. I hate it when someone pushes me away in the middle of a conversation just so he can interject something off-topic. I especially hate someone pushing me out of the way when I'm an inch out of the door in a cosplay I worked hard to make. It's the same reaction anyone would have, so your point is kind of invalid, mate.

1.) It's supposed to be a pleasant meetup, I didn't feel like telling you something you should've learned growing up and getting into an argument over it. You should also know better than to bump into someone with armored cosplay, especially something that took a lot of time to make.

2.) You're damn near impossible to talk to because you have a very limited attention span; anything I would've told you would just go in one ear and out the other

I have nothing against you personally, but you need to handle yourself better in social circumstances so we can avoid these kind of threads.

EXCUSE ME. But you actually DID shove your way into the circle of people I was talking to. Common courtesy dictates that not only should you say 'excuse me,' but you also have to tap someone on the shoulder, not nudge them out of the way. That wasn't the only time you shoved me either. I was at the door leaving Decade's Toku panel when you just pushed past me and walked out without even a simple sorry or excuse me. You're very lucky I'm a forgiving person, or my fist would've kissed your face by now. You need to learn some basic manners, asperger's or not.

You can go to Simplicity.com and venture into their Costume Patterns section for either the Jedi or Kimono pattern for the blue top. As for the red cap, take apart an old hoodie to make the pattern

Friday 10pm by the Gazebo, I'm not sure if there'll be one on Saturday as well, but I'll try to make it if photoshoots allow

Because for the first time in ages, I'm ready for a con the day before Day 0. Woot. See some of you at Katsucon!

You ever consider either rubber cement (stuff that cobblers use to glue soles onto shoes) or contact cement to stick the plates on? Or if you're being lazy, stick on some self-adhesive magnets to the back of the plates and then either sew in or use neodymium magnets on the other side of the spandex to grab onto them

I actually constructed the gem face like how they do for the stunt version of the helmets. It's a solid material, with a neat grid of holes drilled into them, about the size of the holes in this "o". Took a while to drill them out too, but it was worth it cause I don't have to worry about fogging or ventilation.

Finished the Wizarswordgun in time for Katsu. It's a little rougher than I'd like it to be, but seeing as it was made in less than a day, I really have no complaints about it as a first draft. I'll be making a much smoother one for photoshoots, but as a prop I can whack people with, it's coo'

Just letting the Modpodge dry on my Wizarswordgun prop. Not enough time to buy an actual one from the internet, nor is the one available on the internet to the actual TV scale. Hand drawn on EVA foam and then dremeled all the details out painstakingly.
