>get mega refund in time for con
>ready to buy 1 or 2 corsets from them
>can't find their booth
>mfw one of the sellers tells me they weren't there that year
I wanted to buy at the con to avoid shipping and handling plus getting measured just in case. I found another place, but they just didn't have the one I wanted.

>It depends on how your body handles healing, etc.
Guess I'm a slow healer since mine never close even without 2 month's use. Quite unfortunate when it comes to scars.

Could the contrast be any higher? I can barely see what she has on. She's got a pretty face but the nose ring is killing me.

My first cosplays and lolita attempt. Will never forget how /cgl/ tore me apart when I posted what I thought gothic lolita was. I know the photos are somewhere, would look a hot mess even in ita threads.

My Misa Amane was terrible. I thought it would look great piecing it together, but I wasn't smart enough to check how I looked before the con. Hot Topic bustier that was 3 sizes too small, $60 skirt I bought at the con that fit too stiff, expensive super platform boots, blonde wig that I had to shove my 24inch sew in over, and "SEXY GOTHIC LOLITA" Ebay jewelry. I was so self conscious I left the con, went back to my hotel, and didn't come out till it was time for an outfit change. Not ashamed of it now since I'd call it a learning experience. Now I'm so obsessed over detail I get depressed if I can't find the right earrings or a wig's shade is too dark or too light.

I recommend something comfortable and light. It's gonna be hot, so something you wont burn up in. Also, assuming it's packed, wear something that wont snag easily. Wore a bandeau bra and shorts with sneakers my first time, did not regret it.

Now I dress like a dancer/stripper. Actually trying to figure out what I'll wear in a few days. Not like it'll matter when the room is full of sweat drenched nerds high out of their minds, but taking photos is fun.

The 1 con party I've been to was actually a mixed crowd. There were people who knew little about anime and were just there for the parties and rave. Interesting experience when the weebs clashed with people who gave you blank stares when asking about a series.

Some years ago a person told me raves (because I didn't know at the time) were a bunch of white people having seizures to techno music.

And then I went to my first about 2 years ago and I believed them. I thought it was pretty fun since I had never let loose like that before. Then some guy started dry humping me from behind and would NOT let go. Got a friend to get him off of me. Wasn't a bad night overall.

As for parties, I went to my first last year. Started off alright until everyone started getting really rowdy and the police showed up. A shame really since the people staying at the hotel most likely have no clue what's going on and can't understand why there's suddenly people in funny costumes running around shouting and spazzing out everywhere. The party itself was nice and I had fun just people watching and chatting. Didn't get to enjoy it to its fullest because I went out of curiosity and was looking rather frumpy.

I could since I wouldn't wear it until Sunday, but it's also a matter of having the money now and I wanted to wear it Thursday as well.

>get check in mail
>mfw it's $100 short of anticipated ammount
>money taken out because of terrible Union
>still to wait for balance to become available on card
>still ordering last minute cosplay pieces
Kill me.

I'm gonna buy a wig from Arda, but I'm worried about the state it will be in since it's pre-styled. 1 day shipping seems to be the standard (fortunatly), but I'm still biting my nails because of my lack of funds.

What does everyone think of cosplaying on Thursday? I've seen people do it, but almost no one's even there until check in time for their respective hotels. Considering it for a less than recognizable cosplay I chose.

Then what is the largest you've seen? I've only been to Acen because convenience.

I think I've been getting lucky. The worst intoxicated bunch I've dealt with were those break dancing asians. They weren't rough or demanding, one just kind of plastered himself on me until I peeled him off.

Pffft. I think the Hyatt and all immediate area hotels are tsundere for Acen. Thousands of dollars in profit, hundreds in cleaning and repairs.

Oh man I completely forgot about that. I don't even think I was interested in anime and manga 10 years ago so I missed out on a lot. I think anything goes with Naruto though, because popularity. Find an orange and black kimono, apply blond pig tail wig, instant "Kimono Naruko"

>Most people will think you're just walking around in your undies.
I think you're over estimating my modesty. /cgl/ and a few girls will complain but the opinions of the few don't outweigh that of the majority. See pic related and how anyone browsing Yandy could do the exact same thing. Granted I get your point, but I have seen girls in about the same form like that woman in that all white bikini and a helmet. At least I'll have the hair and gun.

Looks like I'll be staying inside.

Though it would be fun wearing pic related as an addition to my Lana. I don't have an Archer to make it recognizable, but hey I wouldn't be burning up every time I step into a narrow hallway or outside.

Why is Homestuck so popular? I only know of it being a webcomic or something. Everywhere I looked last year I always saw was grey paint, orange horns, and black tshirts. Naruto, SAO, and SnK I can get the idea because they're popular, easy to understand chinamen animations. But I know little about this series.

Your choice. But >>8294777 is right, I did it because of the characters always going to Junes and them eating together is a common occurrence in the game.

I like taking pictures of them acting out of character. A group of Persona4 cosplayers were sitting down, then when they began to stand I hurriedly asked them to just stay in place and act natural. Eating junk food and not caring. It's just more fun.

Speaking of posing, I hope someone asks me to pose a certain way. I can't into guns and can't monitor my body on the fly so my pictures come out looking awkward or my stomach/chest huge because I'm at an odd angle.
