Anybody have any plans for cons next year? I'm skipping out on Mega to head up to Animazement. This year wasn't entirely phenomenal so, I might not go back to Mega for a while.

There's a couple of ways to do his tattoo. You can print it out on tattoo paper like a temp or you can make a tattoo sleeve out of nylon leggings. I did the leggings and attached it to hy harness. pic related is how it turned out. Its pulled up a bit so it's crooked here but it's a solid way to do it if you have a tattoo on your arm already.

I have yet to eat anyone's skin at a con. I'll let you know what it tastes like if it happens. I haven't had anyone come up and insult me to my face that I remember having that bad of a reaction to. Not entirely sure where that rumour started but it probably happened when I was younger.

And anon, I'm sorry but I genuinely do not remember doing that to anyone at Holmat, and I don't remember blocking anyone on facebook immediately afterwards. I don't even have that many people blocked on my facebook. The only people I have blocked are someone named Shmenkins Jenkins and two guys from way back when I was in high school.

The only person that I remember confronting me was deisha and we had a long talk and are still friends.

I truly am sorry if I did that to your friend, and I really don't remember doing it, but you have the right to abhor me. Please apologize to them for me since I don't remember who they are. And, if they can, tell them to find me at megacon and bring it up, because that sounds like something I'd like to fix.

1. The material is actually dark green, not blue. I dyed it after realizing it was far too blue, but the lighting is just off and weird because of the overhead light. Pic related is the dye difference, but I'm thinking I should probably do one more dunk to make them even greener. I've still got time.
2. The legs are shorter because of movement, yeah, and they're wide at the bottom because we used the size of my foot as the diameter for the circle the whole way around.
3. The fingers were my second attempt to better wire them, but the wires are still too long and not attached properly so I'm going to fix that. I tried to place them in areas where the fingers would have been but now I'm thinking of scrapping the wires and just putting the tubes on the hands directly.
4. The bangs need to be fixed yes. I just got excited because everything was like 99% done. I'm still working on things, I've got 4 days.

Jesus I'm gone for like two days and this thread spirals out of control. And here I thought it would just die holy crap.

For clarification, I posted myself in threads twice, once asking for pictures of anybody had them and someone else posted me once. I didn't even know I was on /co/, or Fox5 News for that matter. I've been looking for that actually. I was shocked when someone made this thread because I posted WIP's of this cosplay in the progress thread and in the NYCC thread so I thought OP would have looked in the NYCC thread but evidently not? I check this board like twice a week for tutorials and to look in the progress thread and thats really the extent of my involvement here.

I'm sorry to >>7878542 for being upset about me having 'my five min of fame' for a cosplay that technically isn't even DONE yet but I'm not over-promoting myself for it. Its not a good enough cosplay for overpromotion its just a cosplay I did for fun that got popular because its of a character that not a lot of people see.

Yeah I've got a few things to work on with her. I've still got plenty of time though. I didn't enter her in a contest and mainly just walked around the convention center posing for fun. It was a fun cosplay! It wasn't meant to be really serious and I got a lot of recognition and compliments from people, so I'm happy with that at the very least. But she'll get better. Maybe by Megacon or Holiday Matsuri or one of the upcoming Florida cons. But for right now I'm happy and I'm still learning and I've got a ways to go. I'm not entirely sure how I can fix the harness sagging yet but I'll figure it out.

Uh, yes hello this is my cosplay i've been posting in the WIP thread for the past few months. A quick browse through the NYCC threads should have been able to tell you who I was cosplaying if you scrolled enough.

Its not really the best. It was a first run and, admittedly some things were eased over, like the center gem and that accident in the gloves on the left side there. The sagging of my harness also bothered me but that should all be fixed up and redone by the next time I wear her. I had to fix a lot of things in the hotel room before the con due to some damage from the drive up. There are better pictures of the cosplay around. But uh, thanks for liking my cosplay so much? I'm flattered really. I got a lot of good reception at the convention so I'm proud of it, even if it wasn't perfect.
