I really hate to be an antagonist to this argument, but most states also allow open carry of both pistols and rifles without restriction or permit, and many states have will issue CCW permit policies.
As long as you're a citizen and have a record clean of violent misdemeanors and any felonies, it's a pretty cut and dry process.

Put a sand bag in it, scure it somehow, and attach it to a vehicle. Drag it behind it for about 1/2 a mile, repeat step 4 for taste. Alternatively, sandbag again, and attack with a knife, go for more stabbing motions to leave more shirt behind. Alternatively again, if you want to /k/ it up, sandbag and then take to range as target.

Assuming you're talking about shotguns and not some forbidden category of elephant gun, this is actually quite near impossible without some kind o bodily issue. You can fire most shotguns, even a Double Barreled SBS, with one hand with almost no issue. Shotguns are actually on the fairly weak side when it comes to raw power.

Had an old field pack with quick release straps, but they had shitty tolerances, so the bit that two rings together kept slipping loose and it would end up being held in place by naught but a single snap, which would inevitably fail. Ended up getting it tailored after the convention so that it won't happen again.
