I'm at the point where I'm almost done, but starting to hate parts of it that make me want to re-do the entire thing.

Do it wrongly? How? I used foam as well and I referenced volpin a lot. Do you have an example? Oh dear...

It's my first time making armour like this. I hope you like it if you see it!

Post your list on the teahouse proboard. I'm on a buying spree.

If you have any long blue wigs, I'd be super interested.

I believe Kimi Ni Todoke (The manga) featured brand name shoes in them.
Gakutsuou (Count of Monte Cristo), features clothing designed by Anna Sui in the last episode.

Anyone already planning for nest year's? Haha.

For Sunday, I'm thinking of bringing out my old Hawke cosplay or using shepard again.

Saber!
I guess you can say we're suitable for each other.

The fur edging fell off of a belt I made once. I ended up ripping it off in the bathroom. Thankfully it didn't look too bad.

/cgl/, I'm sad.
I was supposed to partner up with a good friend for a fate/zero cosplay, but he has to move suddenly to Manitoba. It was his first cosplay ever and he was uber depressed considering how much work he put into it.

We were supposed to be Saber and Lancelot. ;_;

Oh dear God /cgl/... please talk me out of this.
I'm unfinished my other 2 cosplays, but now I want to start a third. Welp.

It's Donnel from Fire Emblem Awakening.
It seems fairly simply, and I already have a good wig (that just needs to be curled).

Oh god, my classes are taking up so much time at the moment. Welp.

I'm a kind-of beginner at sewing and I have a large men's dress shirt that's the perfect color for a cosplay. Any tips on resizing it for a small girl or can I just leave it to a tailor to do it?

That's a shame. My club leader was so enthusiastic about it.
My highschool anime club was shit to be honest.

There's a Boston Pizza just down the road on the way tot he radisson I think. They increase their prices for the week end though a bit due tot he expected rowdiness of con-goers. I always go there with my friends and sometimes there's a line.

>What's everyone's cosplay lineup for the weekend?
I'm getting ready a Commander Shepard, Saber (Fate-zero suit) and if I have time, Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening. Anyone have suggestions when to wear each? I know they have a photoshoot for F/Z on Saturday... I think, but I also want to show off my Shepard (and Lucina if I can) more.
>Panel plans?
Probably 4chan and at least the one where they talk about university anime clubs. My Uni's anime club president usually is one of the hosts.
>Money woes?
None at the moment, I feel I've been budgeting well.
>Hotel problems?
None. 15-20 minute drive from my house anyways.
>Has anyone heard of a single one of this year's special guests?
I wanna see Tatum and that Japanese lady who voice Dunya from Magi.
>Are you going to be at the con on Thursday as well as the weekend?
Probably not.

By the way: captcha is ATFrant Nabokov lol

Maybe eva foam and pvc pipes?

The pipes, you can buy long ones and just cut them for multiple gun barrels (or whatever they're called) and just layer the eva foam for the body, like how this person did it:

http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/358-EVA-Foam-M-3-Predator-Pistol-(Mass-Efct-2)

If you don't have a dremel, I'd invest in one. It's very useful for props in general.

When in doubt (or lack of funds), just go the ol' cardboard route. http://xxrenxx.deviantart.com/art/Cardbrd-Gun-Tutorial-Part-1-210357842

The cardboard one doesn't look as good but I think it's the cheapest.

If you're too lazy for that though, buy toy rifles from a dollar store and modify those.

We should make this like a personality quiz game. for everything that applies to you , get a certain number of points. If you get enough, you are ELIZABETH

..Or something

I really love it when Hetalia cosplayers pull off historical outfits, even if they're not featured in the actual webcomic/anime.

Well done uniforms in general give me a sense of euphoria.
