I sell my body for a living. :S

>> No.6607826 [View]

I am absolutely having it done.
I get mistaken for a guy, a crossdresser, or just called ugly at very least once a month.
I think most of it is my jaw, so I'll have that shaved/reduced. If that doesn't fix it enough I'll get something to make my face a bit fuller (not very common but I've seen it)
Once the basic face shape is done if I have money I'll get the bump in my nose removed and fuller lips, but really I just don't want to be mistaken for a trap/man anymore

As far as admitting to having it done - of course, it will be obvious. I don't see why anyone would deny it, it's pretty hard to cover that up.

That should be fine, but it depends on the wig. the best thing to do would probably be to find a small section of wig and test on that. just try a small strand on one of the bottom/middle wefts that is sort of hidden by the other wefts?

That'd be the waterline, Just continue doing what the girl in the picture is doing. It's a little uncomfortable at first but it will make your lashes look much fuller!

I like the first one, and the one with the blonde pigtails/white bolero. Those weird lace tight things under her socks kind of ruin it, though.

Gotta agree with the others, black wins this one.

Gonna say Choke or the third on the bottom.

how about your face? strong or weak jaw? deep set eyes? how much facial hair?

>> No.6600519 [View]

Okay, on a serious level, you're probably going to have to post a picture or at least give us a description of what you look like in order to get some useful advice.

>My dad telling me that I can't go
>because "I'm too old for them"

That's kind of ironic. How old are you?
Anyways, I'd be really quite upset if I couldn't go to cons anymore. I really only ever go to one a year, so it's quite exciting. Plus, I've not missed a con for the past 5 years, I wouldn't know what to do with myself...

I wouldn't say she looks "slutty", but I see what you mean. The makeup is pretty dark/dramatic for Lilly, and the expression seems a bit out of character. With a less extreme eye makeup, she could be really great.

You might try rubbing alcohol instead of hand sanitizer. It's basically the same thing but hand sanitizer tends to take more time and effort in my experience. It kind of... smudges out and then you end up with a bigger area to clean. I've found it works best to use rubbing alcohol on cotton balls!
I'd place it over an old towel or a paper towel or something, because the color tends to transfer to the surface underneath your dress.

Ugh no, that makes me so mad! It's really disturbing seeing how reckless other people can be with props and costumes.
Someone also tried to take my coat while I was cosplaying Grell, fortunately (or unfortunately) it was safety pinned to me and resulted in a rather awkward falling collision. I don't understand how people can be so careless.

>>6583069
oh hi thar
Yeah, It seems pretty popular so I'm surprised I haven't met anyone either. I've been getting some people into it though! That sounds cool, I'll look forward to meeting her! And you too, since we only briefly met really haha.

Oh yeah, this is my actual guilty pleasure. So so so guilty.
You can use some extensions to blacklist certain users or tags, that might help. try tumblrsavior?

>Zoro x Sanji
I thought I was the only one!

Okay yeah, I think shounen ai/yaoi is my real guilty pleasure. That's definitely something I like to keep in the closet, fans of such pairings are represented by the most awful people sometimes...

Man, that's not even worn out/big/full-of-crazies enough to be ashamed of.
I'm hanging on to my pride while I can keep it.

But yeah, Kuroshitsuji is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. The fans can be really really awful (obsessive) I had some less-than pleasant experiences cosplaying Grell. More of a closet fandom for me now, I guess...

I have literally never met another Adventure Time fan. I wonder if I should be glad about that now....

>people would make fun of me, and I'd get laughed out of a con, and every woman within earshot would laugh.
The worst thing that would happen even if you had an absolutely terrible costume or are ridiculously ugly is you won't get attention. If you're unlucky one or two assholes might make a rude joke or something, but I highly doubt you'd get people blatantly laughing at you. Usually people are pretty happy to meet people who share their fandom, even if their costume isn't perfect. But if you work hard to make something nice you'll have great success.

I think being interested in Japanese fashion has made me more secure with my appearances. I'd never really seen being thin portrayed in a positive light, and I'd been ridiculed for being too skinny a lot, but when I got in to lolita I got a lot of positive compliments on my body.
I'm not into lolita anymore, but It's been kind of nice to see how thin-ness appears to be a bit more acceptable in Japan (presumably because there is less of a focus on being "sexy" which generally requires more weight) and thus somewhat more accepted amongst international fans of j-fashion as well. I feel kind of guilty getting some pleasure from it, though, since I know it makes a lot of girls feel pressured to lose weight.
Mixed feelings.

Woah, whuuuuut? THIS is the girl who wouldn't hang around another Drow because she thought her costume was superior? God, for being such a bitch you would at least think she'd have a decent wig and makeup. What a shame.

Damn, really? That's kind of weird. It's not like it's particularly disrupting anyone. I always fix my makeup on the train or bus, seems like the perfect opportunity. Ah, culture differences...

>How do you feel when female cosplayers are considered to be "fakes", deemed they must know nothing about comics, and are simply "fake geek girls"?
If there's a reason for this label, then whatever. If a girl cosplays from a series she doesn't know about and is totally clueless when people try to talk to her about the series, I think it's fair if the other person is a little bothered.
>What do you think of girls who cosplay "slutty" characters without much (or any) interest in the actual series they're from?
I don't really care. Like I said, it is a bit disappointing if they don't know anything about the series, but ultimately it doesn't matter that much. Their choice, their money/time, their body. I've noticed a lot of girls bitching about this, but I feel like the girls who complain about it usually have some jealousy issues.
>How do you feel about female cosplayers who are subjected to a level of misogynistic outrage and harassment based on their outfit (whether they are actual fans of the character, or simply doing it for attention)?
I don't think it's really fair to get so worked up over a damn costume. I mean, if you're going to cosplay a character you don't know much about you should expect some disappointment and/or irritation from fans of the series, but to go onto a full on rage is really way too dramatic.
