What type of things do you have in mind? I try to make events that will be entertaining for the audience but also make it that it's not a waste of time to the people entering them (contests). The wig contest is a more "serious" event but the makeup one should be hilarious for everyone. But I'm open to suggestions for other ideas too.

Their craftsmanship is fine, it's the quality of the rubber they use that sets them behind makers like LatexNemesis, KE and Andromeda.

They use Chinese rubber which is cheap where as most every other maker uses 4D Rubber which is gorgeous.

Basically, if you know how to glue rubber together and can pattern well, you could take the base of the Catfish suits and make them look much better with some effort. IMO, a 200 catsuit beats a 2K catsuit from Adromeda IF you know what you're doing...

Because the fit of this pattern is way better than any you will get from a Green Pepper pattern.

I've made two with a third in progress. Body is made from neoprene and the skirt and collars from casa satin.

Yes, there are issues with the skirt and collars but if you're not brain dead and have some moderate sewing abilities, you can adjust it and make it work nicely.

If you're too scared to agree on something because it was posted so "belligerently" then you're not worth giving a fuck about either. Grow a spine~

Since when is being a decent human being and valuing the social interactions with people equate to "being on a high horse". Sorry I value the genuine friendships I make more than the artificial dick-sucking that most do...maybe you should try it sometime?

Another thing...all these shit heads who charge take some of the most uninspired photos I have ever seen. You don't see photographers out here (east coast) doing shoots and shit JUST TO DO IT. Everyone here wants compensation for their time because they fell their shit doesn't stink. When's the last time you've seen a east coast cosplay "photographer" shoot just for the sake of shooting...for the sake of artistic expression? It doesn't happen...which is why all these fucks photos are all identical...over-exposed, over-saturated, etc etc etc...

>> No.7978495 [View]

>>7978477

Solution? Stop giving this shit head and people like her your money...spend it on other things, like making more/better costumes.

>> No.7978475 [View]

Oh hey, Ashe B...I remember when I trolled her around and gave her shit for charging...2 years ago.

Also, if you pay for photo shoots, you're a shitter. If you charge this much for photo shoots, you're a shitter.

Also let me state that although there were some difficulties with the pattern, the fit of the costumes is excellent. I used a thin neoprene for the two that I made and I feel that is the best way to go. Also the pattern does not use a zipper to get into the costume, it is pulled over the head and snapped in the crotch.

Another issue with the pattern though is the use of foam to make the hip roll and sleeve puffs. It actually wants you to sew upholstery (like green foam from Joanns) foam together which, pretty much isn't possible unless you have a beast-ass machine. And for the sleeves, it says to double up on the foam which I also thought was unnecessary, although again, I was using neoprene and not spandex so that might have had something to do with it.

Sorry I don't have any pictures actually showing more of the costumes on us, but again, if you have some knowledge of sewing modifying patterns, I do recommend this pattern. You will get a costume that fits very well and looks very clean...probably one better than if you piece together various random patterns...

It just doesn't fit at all and the costumes I've seen that did use the original collar pattern, the collar is bunched up and awkward looking. Even after adjusting the pattern piece, I still had issues with it and ended up just using snaps (on Uranus) and a slip-stitch (on Neptune) to fix it.

>>7831074

If I remember correctly, the skirt is attached to the waist roll and then sewn to the bodysuit. This pattern calls for everything to be one piece which I did not agree with, so I attached the skirt to the hip roll and then attached the hip roll to the bodysuit via snaps (which also makes it interchangeable).

It does not call for lining (well, save for the panties part of the bodysuit) although it does call for doubling up on certain pieces which I don't really understand. The skirt is finished via serging and single-fold bias tape.

Basically, if you can read patterns and sew fairly well, you can use these patterns to make a pretty impressive costume piece. If you're new to sewing and don't know how to read patterns or make alterations, stay away from this pattern. It does require some experience, but if you know what you're doing, you'll be fine.
