I applied to a lot of universities in the west & east coast areas so I could attend the fun larger cons like Otakon or AX or something more than like once a year.

Got rejected by all of them! Oh well. I got into a great school about 3hrs from Chicago so I guess I'll see you friends at ACEN.

Holy shit Anon, you are me exactly 1 week ago at Otakon.
I bought my first pair of circle lenses and spent 2 hours on Thursday night at the hotel and failed to get them in; tried another hour on Friday and failed; finally when I needed them on Saturday I refused to leave the hotel room til they went in (Another 2 hrs).

I ended up doing some stupid shit where I pulled my lower eyelid down with one hand, and put the lens in with the other, and then quickly tilted my head all the way back to try and get gravity to help get the lens off my finger.

Worked for me and I've put them on 3 times since then, all under 5 minutes.

Good luck and make sure you're rinsing your lenses after every couple of tries so you don't get junk in your eyes.

Yeah, pretty much. Planning a con does take a good deal of effort and such, but I also understand that travel and rooming does cost a ton.

Elaborating on this; I didn't go last year but at all previous ASTL's, they also checked badges upon entry to the Artist's Alley, so be mindful of that.

The people that are hired only check that you -have- a badge though, so if you need to enter any events, AA, or panels, you can just borrow a friend's badge and hop in.

(I don't endorse sneaking into cons but I get that some people have circumstances etc)

Also if you want to be /even safer/ you can disappear for a month or two and then come back saying you lost a bit of weight. Redistribution of facial fat can really change one's appearance, and combined with previous Anon's approach about cosmetology will probably work.

But seriously if they won't accept you and/or trash you behind your back, they probably aren't your real friends.

I've heard very good things on this board about Shiseido's blemish targeting gel.

There were a couple posts in the last makeup thread about how an anon used it and her acne scars were slowly fading and giving her hope and stuff. I can't find the original post but yeah.

Perhaps give that stuff a try? Sheseido's a big brand so it can't be too bad.

I don't have any actual tutorials for mtf makeup per-se, but I'd imagine it'd be more or less the same, just with more contouring and possibly hiding any 5o'c shadows.

If you're still here, I know that some people with darker brows like to brush out the hairs, then take a glue-stick and rub it thinly over the brow. This gives a better surface for concealer / foundation to sit on. You can probably find some more info from google.
