Would you guys say its possible to have a well done cosplay if you're not the right skin color? I know you guys are pretty harsh when it comes to well done cosplays.

I got a lot of compliments on my kazuichi souda this year, but I was thinking of doing Shiunin Sora next year. I think I got away with it with Kazuichi cause he is slightly tan but Sora is totally pale.

I have absolutely no experience with creating any sort of item or sewing, so I was hoping to avoid that (although I do understand I will have to learn it to some degree). I guess I'll just cross my fingers in that someone makes the coat and the thing on his hand for me.

Is it wise to find someone adept in making cosplay gear and have them make it for me? Or is that a costly thing that is not a good idea?
