It would help if you posted a photo, but if not, can we at least have a reference as to the kind of skin color that you're looking for? Sorry, but I've seen a great variety in skin tones with those of mixed race...

In the meantime, I'll throw out some characters that have darker skin tones without it looking "too black."
That sounds more racist than it did in my head...
