I'm Asian and my hair is similar to the OP pic, without the ombre. Funnily enough, my hair has been growing faster than it ever has because I actually started taking better care of my hair. It's held up pretty well thanks to all the crap I've put in it.

I don't think it's so bad touching your roots up every month (I get mine done every 1-2 months) so all I can say is take more care next time. Any recommendations for treatment products for super bleached hair? I've used Joico's K-PAK Reconstructor and Intense Hydrator before and I quite liked it. After I used all that up I was recommended Redken's Real Control Intense Renewal which I recently finished a tub of. I was thinking of going back to using the Joico stuff but if there's anything else worth trying, I'm open to it.

Just a warning - Catch of the Day and Ozsale will probably have sales for things you don't like or need most of the time. They rotate through different sales/brands regularly so if you want something from a particular brand, you pretty much have to subscribe to their newsletters or check their site everyday until something good comes along.
