most don't, there is photographers who just do cons but try to go to all of em.

you can get a press pass to the cons if you are reputable. which is why you start off networking with regular cosplayers and hope to be their personal photographer.

Just wanna note that you cosplayers can deny your pictures to be taken. don't sulk , just say no.

same with the photographers, if you hear no, don't sulk. just deal with it and move on.

and also show the cosplayers the photos, they dress up so you guys can get a good photo. so at least make it flattering.

p.s. it makes you look less of a creep if you show em the photo and let em know you got a really good photo.
