/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

DR exploded recently because of popular cosplayers and bloggers (mostly in the Homestuck fandom) reading it and making costumes. So it was a chain reaction of people reading it and spreading.
Homestuck might putt out after the series ends, then jump again with the game.
I know OFF will probably be really big for a short while, shippers and Zacharie fans taking over a larger part of it(from what I've seen on tumblr)...
not sure about animes since i haven't watched any recently

HSG, I wanted to ask you guys about meetups. What do you think of them? If you like them, what kinds do you think people would like to see more of other than the average ones (mall, park).

And what type of "strategy" works out best for photoshoots? Like the character calling/blood color/family name, or something else?

I'm thinking of in the future trying to run some events for the local comm, and wondering what would be cool/would suck horribly.

I don't know if anyone would recognize this, and only three people I know have really played it.

It's a sniper rifle from Fallout 3. You might be able to find a tutorial like that. I have none at hand, but maybe someone else can help!

He's a real cool guy. Very sweet, good direction (also has an assistant to help out too!), isn't commanding like other people I've been with, and his prices are very affordable.

Not trying to play him up. I was only going to have the one shoot with him on Friday, but he was so good to work with I scheduled another one with him on Sunday.
