This might be hard to grasp, but just stay with me, now. The problem exists because he joined a non-fetish group, which specifically says that it is a non-fetish group, to find people who participate in his fetish. It would be like joining a Facebook group dedicated to buying, wearing and admiring shoes when you've got a foot fetish.

You might find someone willing to indulge said fetish, but for the most part, people are just going to feel like you're invading their bubble and get angry.

Part of the reason there was so much drama around that, I think, had to do with the fact that there were rumours from the start that she was high off her nut at the time that she died. Another part of why I think it stuck around so long was because not many people knew who she was and no official statement was made anywhere, which meant that there was less attachment to her/guilt over gossiping about her. Pretty much everyone in lolita knows about the Lolibrary database and a post was made directly to EGL within a week.

Also, people have been asked specifically to be respectful. No one else spoke up for the girl who fell from the hotel (parking garage? whatever it was) that I saw, but I didn't pay much attention to it.

Sissy isn't necessarily lolita, but it's a bit old-fashioned as far as fetishes go. It's a fetish that focuses on humiliation. In itself not that old-fashioned. BUT. The idea specific form of humiliation is that the 'sissy' is forced into wearing unmasculine things (usually age-play esque dresses) or doing typically "womanly" tasks (cleaning house, cooking for someone else, being the caregiver). Most sissies I've encountered are 35+ and have a lot of issues with admitting that the world is changing.

Fatty here. Thinspo can be annoying when it's pro-ana. But I don't mind seeing weight loss before and after pictures regardless of level of fit the person has attained so long as they are being healthy about it. Fitspo, however is inspiring and motivating. I'd rather be a fit and still has some issues here and there fitting into some brand due to muscle rather than a thin-waif-like skeleton that looks like she's going to break if the wind blows too hard just to fit into some obscure, niche fashion. It's like at that point, you might as well be be fat. Probably better to be fat and more positive about yourself than starving yourself into oblivion thinking you're horrendously obese. I don't even know.
