This is why I could never get behind the "lolitas should be creative and not wear a set" idealogy. They always seem to be pushing for coords to purposely look like an uncoordinated mess to avoid the "fullset" look.

The really ironic thing here is that sets actually look boring -- if you aren't gorgeously modelesque you just end up looking like a bad copycat of the model they used to promote the release. So most people just pass on by because they've seen it before the print was released and they don't think it's interesting anymore.

I'm betting she didn't even see that many sets being praised, she just labels everything that looks good as "a fullset" in some dumbass attempt to pull them down and make herself feel better.

I don't think this is ita, but the coord may need to be redone from scratch.

The first is that orange and purple don't go together. I get it, it's Halloween, but. Fandoms and themes should never override colour theory. First and only real rule of lolita is to look good, and a black x purple coord with a bright orange and green accent thrown in just doesn't work.

Plus the hat is a much brighter purple than the rest of her purples so the rest of her outfit doesn't even look coordinated. If it weren't Halloween you'd be reeling at the bad colour choices.

Then those tights with those shoes. Again, I get it, purple Halloween stuff. But they look so plain and yet so eye-catching, you can't help but feel it's a terrible combination. I'd have gone with black tights, or different shoes, or anything other than this eye-catchingly bad combo.

So it basically needs to be redone to stick to an actual colour scheme and not "what Halloween crap do I have lying around" theme, and to take out those purple tights.
