I've been buying so many tops lately, but I'm FINALLY starting to feel like I really have enough for my wardrobe to be really versatile. While the tartan is fairly fall-ish, it's mostly that the fabric is rather thin, floaty, and breathable cotton. It was something really easy to comfortably wear in the summer.

Boz is the dream man, I wish I could just have all the Boz at times. You really just have to buy them firsthand though unfortunately, they never pop up secondhand and if they do it's for stupid prices. That one chick on Japanese secondhand sites always pisses me off with her listings she reposts every day. At least Boz has a very steady release schedule lately.

So I got the bag today. It's a bit smaller than I originally thought it was going to be. I figured it'd be one for one with the lovecraft book, but it was maybe an inch smaller all the way around. The material is about the same as my brown bag, which I've had for like 5 years now and it still looks that same as the day I bought it. The new bag fits everything that I need into it. My wallet, keys and phone and has some extra room for like a scrunched pair of flats. I'm considering moving my pins and everything over from my old bag but I don't want to ruin the new. But yeah, overall I really like the bag and it seems to be pretty sturdy. It's not flimsy, the body is pretty rigid like I had hoped. I kinda wish they had gone with like one of the magnetic snaps that fit into each other instead of the hidden magnetic closure, but that's really my only complaint. And it was fairly priced. Maybe in the future I'll get a bag from Killstar because I really want that necronomicon bag.

This order arrived--the Miho Matsuda skirt is absolutely gorgeous, it's my first piece of miho and it's a winner. It's SUPER adjustable since it has both a front and back lacing panel. A little short but I am short myself so it's fine for me.

The IW OP is abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous but it's quite large. I'm a pretty standard Japanese size M (35in bust 25in waist) so I have a habit of just buying without checking measurements on standard-size items but it's really big for an unshirred piece. I might make some waist ties for it.

Finally making my September mail post since we're in October. Might actually do a haul video since I had in the past week got in the AP purchase, the Lief St. Esther set since it was delayed, and a Japonica order that includes the Sheglit bolero, Rosy Night Masquerade, JM fruits skirt, and JM Royal Order from this image. Boz stuff still has to arrive from FJ.

Getting a VM dream dress has left me super hyped! Though I missed out twice this month on another dream dress, rip. I already own Royal Order in navy so I was totally okay with this white one having a damaged waist tie. I've never ordered from Antique Beast before, excited to see what they're like and increase my hair accessories.

Will probably make an IW order this upcoming month as their new releases are A+ .

It arrived today! It is definitely pretty short, I'm usually a bit too tall for Asian sizes at 167 cm but this dress I would say is too short to even really wear as lolita at that height. For me that's okay though - one of the reasons I bought this cut specifically is that it's quite plain and I feel it works well to wear it in a more otome way with a minimal poof petti, so that's how I'm going to wear it. You could also get an underskirt for it, but if you have big boobs or are much taller it's probably going to be difficult to wear it in a way that looks nice. Would highly recommend it if not though, the dress is just lovely and the fabric is so much nicer than in the stock photos.

Also note I am not a seamstress by any means.

Everything about it is lovely. The fabric is really nice. The straps have adjustable length and use cute wood buttons. The inside includes lining and a branded "lily of the valley" tag. 2 very large pockets. A LOT of fabric is used for the skirt which I love. Much more than my AP dresses. It means the skirt is great with a petti and feels ~swooshy~

My biggest issue with the dress is I think the seams on the front of the bodice are wonky. Im not entirely sure because Im not familiar with sewing. The fabric is said to be " sturdy cotton twill" which I would agree with. The fabric itself is quite thick and nice.

I think the vertical bodice length is slightly off as well as the seam. It's almost like the dress should come up higher under the arm but it doesn't. So this could be a pattern issue as well. I think interfacing could have smoothed it a bit because it is quite obvious in your photo

It's a lace collar that you're supposed to sew onto dresses and stuff, it's the trim I'm going to finish a Halloween dress with. Shop is pretty cool, there's a lot of different lace. I might come back and order some star motif lace for Christmas.

Pros: material and fit are great, am definitely keeping it.
Cons: fit is great except for the sleeves, they're a little shorter than on VM coats, which have never been a problem. Also, all my VM (4) and JetJ coats (3) have pockets, this one does not, don't know how common that is with MM coats.

Is there something going on in Los Angeles Customs? EMS Japan's website had a warning about this particular location being really slow, but no US website acknowledges this issue. Is there any reason for this (aside from general slowness/backlog)? It's not the holiday season in the US yet. I don't even want to think about how bad it's going to get come December. It's so frustrating knowing that my packages are here but I can't have them!

I don't think so desu, it just depends on what shipping you paid for. I have made several purchases that have gone through the LA customs, Meta for instance, made it through quickly each time using EMS. It literally arrived to me in only a couple days each time. Bodyline though, for an alternate example, has been super slow.. but I did just go with the free p-mail option. That's to be expected though, since that's the nature of using EMS vs a cheaper shipping option.

Has anyone had packages from Japan go missing (and hopefully return)? If so what was the timeline.

I item was sent around the 10th, and hasnt been updated since the 13th where it said it left japan or about to. I think it was shipped Air but its possible it was SAL. It was a small package, i assume under 2kg.
Ive recieved aliexpress orders already that i ordered over a week after this package was shipped.
