As someone with a longer list...that's totally fair? I know I post my list in hopes that if for some reason I don't see it in my secondhand searchings and someone else does that doesn't buy it that they'd link me. If they bought it sure I'd be sad I missed it but oh well, they just have good taste and fast fingers. A few threads ago the Meta Kimono dress on my list came up I wished another girl luck on it as I was traveling at the time. They aren't "mine", and I'm sure most other girls have this mindset, we would just absolutely love to have them. Pretty sure the dream dress thread is one of the purest on this board.

Pretty sure the only time we get bitter is when a scalper gets our dresses or someone else starts flaunting they're looking for the same dress as you because of seeing it here then post here as well. And I think that's just because of rudeness.

Depends on whether you like the color or not. I was afraid the blue colorway of my preferred green JSK was too bright, bought it anyway, and it's a much more subdued blue than in the stock pictures, so I was happy with it and bought the matching OTKs too. Still buying the green colorway if I ever find it, but keeping the blue one too.

I've often seen Wunderwelt list pieces with this kind of heavy discoloration (is it sun damage?) Do any of you know how you would even begin to restore it back to normal? I've managed to fix yellowed lace, but I have no idea what to do when it comes to other types of discoloration. I'm fairly good at restoring damaged pieces, but by no means an expert. However, fading and sun damage are pretty irreversible.

The most powerful thing to help with discoloration that I've found is either vinegar, or homemade oxyclean. Hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate will work wonders for making things less dingy, but if the dye from the fabric is washed out or bleached, it's gone. So if you're okay with a faded garment, "repair" is possible, but unless you want to play around with dyes and bluing agents, it'll always be somewhat faded.

As for that apron, pink, in my mind, is the worst color when it fades because it gets orangey. Having said that, if it's a dream item that's extremely rare, it might be worth while to take a chance on it. But understand that you might come out disappointed in the end.
