I'm with the other anon, though. If you post your DD/wishlist publicly anywhere, it's just a given that someone else may be "inspired" to fall in love with the dress you wanted to buy. Or rather, I have zero faith in my fellow human beings, some of them are shitbags so I'm not surprised if some of them really can't think of a better way to spend money than to buy completely random dresses and get a high off thinking they made someone else miserable. Yeah, I posted in feels thread that I don't know how to feel about it. I'm super salty that they're basically going to charge me $130 shipped for that when all she did was iron it and it's still missing the belt after she bought it for ¥3500. I think what I'm going to do is look at other stuff she's selling and try to haggle down the price a bit, and if she rejects me I might be bitter enough to just wait another year or two for it to pop up again. It is missing the belt after all, kind of a hard green item to replace.

Thankyou for everyone that helped link the IW Candelier jsk, I actually ended up getting both the black and the grey colorways amd they are both amazing and beautiful.

I know this isn't Lolita, but it is Jfashion-related and it's the only dress I really wanted. I couldn't afford it when it came out. If I recall correctly, it was around 800 or 900 dollars new. But now I'm seeing it in other colorways around 200-300 dollars. I'm looking for the blue one as seen in the picture. I've wanted the dress so much and it's one of my biggest regrets that I just didn't cough up the money and buy it. I've checked Yahoo auction Japan and I've checked a lot of second-hand Japanese fashion sites and I've seen other colors, but not blue.
So if you guys see this dress, I will be forever grateful. Unfortunately, I don't know what the official name is. But I have seen some people describe it as "ピンクハウス星空プリント"

I've heard people complaining about the quality of dresses at shows before, is that where the sample dresses are from? Are they lower quality than the regular release or is that just hearsay? That's not how it's done. You set aside the expected price, plus expected SS fees and expected shipping, for your DD. Put it physically into another account (eg stash it into a second account or a fixed deposit account -- you're not looking to earn interest, just keeping it seperate, so it doesn't matter if you "lose" interest you didn't want when you uplift that account anyway). Then never touch it, until either your DD pops up, or one day you decide you don't want your DD anymore.

Spend your pay day and other disposable income on cute non-DD stuff, including DD in non-DD colourways. Don't touch DD funds.

DDs popping up are not an emergency, btw. I hope you actually have a seperate emergency fund stashed away for actual emergencies.
