I personally like Sugarpill’s pastel singles, though most of them are shimmers which is frustrating. You could also always get a really pigmented white and mix it with bright colors right on the brush to make it pastel, which is what I do most of the time.

Unfortunately, there aren't really great pastel palettes out there. Sugarpill recently released the little twin stars collab which might be up your alley, but as with all pastels, looks mildly anemic in color in initial reviews, but then again, most pastel eyeshadows are helped with a white base.

As for lolita makeup, I honestly just look at Korean tutorials these days. They fit my eyes and the less trendy ones have that cutesy look that flatter my asian eyes as well. Lolitas tend to have really sloppy makeup tutorials, Misako included ugh.

I think the problem is that most people who wear lolita and post videos about it are normal people and not makeup artists. Even people who are really good at doing makeup on themselves can be shit at creating tutorials, let alone those who are not that great or just mediocre. Painting your face can become easy with enough practice, but knowing techniques and explaining/showing them clearly is a whole different ball game.
I've been toying with the idea of doing some makeup tutorials, but I'm self-taught and not that experienced yet, so I want to get better before I start posting anything so I don't become another shitty mua on the internets and get posted here.

Nah, the Link makeup from a year ago also had a terrible male contour attempt on the lips, just with less brown around the corners of the mouth. It looks fine in anything that is not a selfie but that's not redeeming at all.

The Victor makeup she did also featured lips that looked like those of a corpse. She can totally get it right when she feels like it and the female makeup is marginally better. I've just never seen someone regress in the makeup department so badly.
