Not a fan of it personally because I I feel like this further ties the fashion to cosplay, but generally speaking, as long as the content is legitimate (i.e. inviting brand guests, organizing actual tea parties with dress codes, informative fashion panels run by actual experienced lolitas) and the con isn't run by a sleazeball, I don't mind.

I always do, whenever I do attend cons, because lolita is all I wear.

Quite a few lolitas in my comm are also cosplayers and they're fine (in attitude and style), but the overwhelming percentage of shit-slinging itas who flounced almost immediately after being told that their polyester monstrosity isn't lolita, were cosplayers who thought that the fashion is their chance to roleplay as a kawaii uguu princess. Those types aren't even entertaining anymore, I'm just tired of them.
