He's been cosplaying for many years now it seems like and all of his cosplays are mediocre at best (pic related). It's funny that he was whining about wanting cosplayers and staff to be nice to him because he's been through drama when he's not nice himself to begin with and he instigates a lot of it. He's been kicked out of several cons for legitimately stalking people (mainly girls but he has followed some dudes around trying to act all macho). Whenever you try to talk to him, he grunts. You ask him for a picture, he grunts. The only time I've ever heard him speak is to say something negative and ridiculous. He was talking shit about some of the cosplayers around him and saying how he's *such a good cosplayer* and no one stands a chance around him when in reality his suck. As far as the kicking out thing, he's also been kicked out for hitting people with his props. This poor cuck always bites off way more than he can chew, and never really gives a shit about the input of the staff. When things need to get done, they are half assed and embarrassing.

If you're able to cross the highway, there are cheaper options on the other side like Panera Bread, Whole Foods, and Taco Cabana. If you're only limited to the area by the hotel then you may have to splurge a little if possible. Cheesecake Factory and Zoe's Kitchen are decent choices. PF Chang's is around the corner. Trader Joe's is available for snacks and things. There's a Brazilian steakhouse that's super good but expect to pay a little more for it.

Can confirm as a cosplay assistant director (for another con), my director gave lorelai a judging spot one year just to get lorelai off of our ass because she felt "wronged" because she didn't win best in show the year before and had a shitstorm on Facebook about it. Damage control was to give her a judging spot without cosplay guest status, but she still used it to brag as if she'd done something deserving.

Keep in mind, I and many other didn't agree with this decision, but our arm was twisted because she cried to the convention head about it and we were told to find a way to shut her up.

Well since we're airing our grievances with Colony Drop and since >>9740195 may actually be here I want to talk about the time I personally saw her be a massive cunt twice in one evening at a cosplay show.
I worked as a backstage volunteer one year at a large con as a general helper and making sure everyone lined up backstage for the show was behaving or if they needed water I would bring water. Lorelei was in line with the guy she's usually with and the two of them were practicing the moves they were going to do on stage. The only problem is everyone was lined up and it was a cramped area. The character she was cosplaying had a large staff and she was swinging it around doing some move with it and clocked the girl in front of her really fucking good with her staff. The girl turns around and I shit you not Lorelei actually tells her she needs to watch out. This other girl had her back turned to her and was facing forward towards the front of the line and Lorelei has the balls to tell her to watch out. They at least stopped practicing at that point and got back in line so I didn't say anything but it really stuck with me

Fast forward to the end of the show and they had placed or won a higher award- I dont remember which and they were out in the hall singing "we are the champions" loudly at the other contestants as they exited the show hall. I don't mean they were doing it passively and just in a "for fun" way, no they were making eye contact with them and were being general douchebags. I have yet to see such unsportsmanlike behavior in all the con shows I have worked at including those with a kids competition. Literal children behave better than she does.

How do these asshats continue to get away with all of this and keep getting to be judges or worse, cosplay guests with behavior like theirs? Someone needs to screencap all these posts and save them for cons that pick her as a judge ffs.

Ten bucks says she'll be the "guest" announced for Okashicon. She's been aggressively going after small cons to let her guest at them as opposed to being asked to guest, so if she says she was "asked" it's a straight up fabrication.

For the last year she's been "guesting" conventions and most people don't seem to know that every event that Lorelei has guested at, the person coordinating the event is the same Henderson chick. These events included Anime on Ice, GoGames360, Pokefest Austin and next Okashicon. She also tries to take charge of this cringeworthy Anime Afternoons thing they do at the Drafthouse, you don't even want to know about that.

Also peep these hands, she's 37 or 38 but her hands are 60.

Very true, but con owners do worry about their cons getting a bad name by announcing bad guests. Most of them don't even consider guests that are suggested, they just go based off of likes or favors from other con owners. If they see that their guest is a shit show, they may decide to reconsider

Met a young lady recently turned 18 that has been receiving and sending suggestive content to kawaiibro, Or at least it was verbalized. Found out later that day one just turned 18 a week prior to the con, dont know how long she had been receiving the messages but, she's been receiving messages the same tyoe of messages from one of kawaiibro's photographers as well, tried to go into detail but I didnt want to know more. Kinda creepy a 20 something year old want pictures of a girl that just turned 18. Oh trust me when I saw I really didnt want to hear that. Don't know if it counts as pedophilia but its predatory in a sense but i dont want to think about it. Just alarmed me this is something someone picked up too.
