I haven’t been to any cons since moving, but I’ve been to most of the ones in Texas. Likely going to A-kon and Otakon next yr+some others! Thankfully I have the freedom to travel to cons, as long as they’re within driving distance (15 hrs or less). Also, I mostly like just walking around AA and dealers rooms! Seeing people that share my interests create really cool things really excites me. I love looking at peoples’ cos and getting pictures of/with them. I also like panels and parties and stuff, but haven’t really been with a ton of groups to cons, and the ones I have didn’t like either lol

The large cons I attend are Otakon, Nekocon, and Anime Mid-Atlantic. I plan to also be attending Katsucon 2018. Most of the time it's roaming around and taking photos of nice cosplay, while also just roaming the dealers rooms. The rest of the time it's Jubeat in the arcade rooms. I'll attend 2-4 pannels a day, usually the larger studio hosted panels.

I've been to the GamesCom, Connichi, Leipziger Buchmesse & Japan-Tag before, but I don't really attend cons anymore now.

Some of my favorite anime (aside from classic stuff) are Shigofumi, Haibane Renmei, Ping Pong & Alien 9.
Favorite games would be Silent Hill 2, Demon's Souls, Snatcher, Odin Sphere & Fallout: New Vegas.
My favorite brands change all the time but I'm currently particularly fond of Victorian Maiden, Moitié, Amavel and Jane Marple.
Lyre Ivy's Cat Guerrillas is my favorite print at the moment.

Played a lot of Sonic games in my time, I prefer the 2D games, but I give the 3D games a fair chance. Also a fighting game fan, love Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, been getting into Dead or Alive lately, loving the series. I also try retro games, but do not browse /vr/ since I find that board to be boring. Plus, I have been getting back into Age of Empires II upon realizing that there is still an active community for it.
As for anime, I try to look for comedies. Net-Juu no Susume was a pleasant surprise recently, but generally I am not into romances. I enjoy action anime, Yu Yu Hakusho is probably my favorite. However, I TRY to follow modern anime.

It's been a while since I've been to cons but the next one I'll be going to is ALA! I'm kind of nervous and excited but I hope I'll make new friends. Usually before in cons when I was more dedicated to my cosplays I would just do photoshoots, meet up with fellow cosplay friends, and then hang around them. I wouldn't explore much on panels or hotel con parties since I was underage at that time. Now I hope I can do so much more!

For games, I tend to default to MOBA trash when I'm feeling really lax and lazy. But for favorite fandoms it would have to be IDOLM@STER, MGS, Destiny, Yakuza, and a lot more. I'm also a huge sucker for JRPGS like the Persona/SMT series. As for anime, it's varied but I love 80s-90s anime, especially if it's mecha. My main default is Gunbuster/ Initial D/ Kimagure Orange Road. I love vintage stuff and explore more on new (old) series when I can.

Before that it didn't even occur to me to do makeup, it was kind of a disaster (still is lol). I wouldn't explore much on panels or hotel con parties since I was underage at that time. Now I hope I can do so much more!

For games, I tend to default to MOBA trash when I'm feeling really lax and lazy. But for favorite fandoms it would have to be IDOLM@STER, MGS, Destiny, Yakuza, and a lot more. Most events here have only local/national fame so mentioning them won't d omuch - but I do attend Comic Con.
