I've used steam enough to know that even if you do that, it will fuck up the "last time logged" or however it's called. Say, you don't log for 7 days, it says "last online: 7d" or whatever (I don't even remember the exact thing). Now you log into your account, but don't log into friends, either right in that moment or when you log off, the counter will restart or glitch to "last online: 2 hours ago"/whatever other date.
