I owned Kingdom of Lolita. The quality is pretty all right.

Mainly, the sheer fabric is pretty stiff, but it was listed as an organdy dress to begin with, so I feel like it's not something I should complain about. On the other hand, I also have AP's DDC with the organza peplum, and I feel like brand just makes better fabric choices. So I guess try to scrutinize all the information instead of being wowed by the pretty photos before you buy.

That said, the end product does look like the sample, and all the info they give is accurate. The sewing is factory-made and finished well, no complaints about the construction.

Felt like here in General would be a better place to ask than the new releases thread, anyone have experience with Boz's sizing? Is it right on target, smaller than advertised, otherwise? I'm eyeing this item on their webstore but the listed measurements (Bust: 83 ~ 88) make me a bit nervous at 84cm. Super excited to buy direct from Boz now that they have some stuff in stock, but just want to make sure I'll fit before I go through a rollercoster of disappoinment.

Boz can be inconsistent in sizing, but I've noticed that their newer released are bigger. At 84cm, you should be fine though, the smallest boz piece I own is 86cm bust, which was listed as such. Also looks like thats a piece with an open back on top, so that'll also give you a little more room too.

I'm contemplating buying this dress I saw on a japanese secondhand website for like 15$.
Does any of you gulls have or had it? And do you think babydoll cuts look childish?

I'm hesitating mainly because all of my main pieces are from japanese brands and I don't wanna break that pattern. And last time i bought a BL dress (soft cream JSK) i felt disappointed and sold it so...

Its not so much an age thing for me as its just hard to find common ground with anyone really. Most of my comm seems to enjoy harry potter, Pokemon and anime. They also seem to watch a lot of normie sitcoms and popcorn movies. Oh and they all love jpop.

I always find myself out of the loop in conversations when everyone gets tired of talking about their wardrobe. They're all really nice- I just... Don't know what to do with them aside from silently sip tea while they all get excited about something I don't care for?

After being a lonelita for half a year I've converted two friends to lolita this week, and it's nice to have someone to go shopping with and chat with over ruffles, lace, and tea. One was leaning in that direction already, and was sold after I gave her a dress, and the other was unexpected but she's into the goth/corsets aesthetic, and likes classic cuts without prints.

Any gull with anxiety here?
I almost never go to meetups mainly due to my crippling anxiety.
I'm feeling excited planning an event in my head but when it comes down to actually planning (asking everyone,setting a date,..) or being the day/week before, i get pretty anxious,imagine all kinds of bad stuff (friends not getting along together,something bad happening,best friend canceling,...)
It's gone to the point where i can't feel excited anymore.
I planned a little meetup for my birthday in november and I don't even feel excitment (and I invited friends I love,haven't seen them in a while,we'll be just 5,...). I only feel angst. It's not even fun because of how much I'm stressed about it.

I can't speak for everyone, but I've noticed that when I give in to my anxiety and shut myself off from the world, it gets harder and harder to socialise at all and I start sliding into depression. I need to socialise at least once every two weeks to keep my callouses up so I can function in the world. Pushing too hard is harmful, but not pushing at all makes me soft and unable to deal with even basic stuff like picking up a package. It's kinda like exercise. It exhausts me, initially it's very unpleasant, but if I keep it up it becomes easier and eventually I start enjoying it. I can choose to just sit on the couch instead but over time that makes me sickly and weak.

For example you could post a poll about the date, time or budget and say ''if you voted for this, it's an automatic confirmation that you will be there'', a week beforehand you can send a message to the people who voted for the winning date/time/place whatever ''You confirmed that you are going to this meet, I'm just messaging everyone to give you my number/the plan'' or something. It puts pressure on people who aren't seriously interested in going. It is really easy to put yourself on 'going' and not go, but if you have talked with them it becomes something personal and real and makes it harder to flake on you.

The service I used is run by my country's postal service and I'm pretty sure it only ships here but their might be a europe specific service also? Overall the shipping was pretty fast, the prices to ship makeup was reasonable only if I bought a bulk of it, but for heavy lolita clothes I imagine if you're already used to paying high shipping costs, it's worth it. Like Tenso, the price for shipping through a service is usually the cost of international shipping + their service/handling fee (usually under 10 dollars) If they're a half decent service they will also have a calculator on their website for you to get an estimate. Usually they're pretty accurate and if you opt for slower shipping methods of course the cost will be cheaper. Having bought through Tenso before I think it's definitely worth it, the prices are similar and the wait isn't that long if you choose the fastest shipping option.

Is there anybody else not very fond of using Tenshi as a shopping service? I never hear anything negative about her, however i have used her quite a bit over the last few years and every single time her communication about the arrival or shippment of my items are little to none. I messaged her after not hearing from her from a while and she let me know that had she got it (according to tracking) and would ship out when she got back. I had a friend back in my old city who acted like she was super interested and wanted to wear it, but then it turned out she was making fun of me behind my back the whole time. Awkward, but we were like 18/19 so I guess I can peg it down to just being childish. My best friend said I could wear it with her but she always takes the piss out of me when I talk about it (which I can deal with, but it's disheartening) and I know she hates it, so it's a bit conflicting. I wouldnt want to hang out with someone who hates it, and I know she'd make me feel shitty about it even if she didnt mean to. The other friends I have in this city are mostly anime nerds and when I spoke to them about lolita they said 'oh you wear lolicon clothes? That's hot lolxd', which made me want to d i e

Did anybody else put in a reservation for Carnival? I just got mine and i was suprised about how small the circumference of the skirt it. It's a line and not nearly as full as any of my other dresses, especially AP.

Despite the small amount of poof it is so cute worn and really comfortable and i kind of wish i had ordered it in a second color. Pink x black will forever be my favorite though.

When I meet up with them I wear the shit out of gothic lolita, but when I'm at home I just don't have the courage to do it.
