Can someone help me figure out which of these options is for Eli's version of this costume? I know the option on the taobao item listing says 绚濑绘里全款 but it seems to be translated sompletely differently in Yoybuy's shopping cart system than it does in google translate

Yes to the first, no to the second since my stuff is in storage right now. It's pretty nice quality, but a lot floppier than the pictures look. You have to attach it with the clips they sew into the hat though, otherwise it won't stay on your head.

I'd say it is! Usually with my ss (Yoybuy) everything arrives there within about 3 business days from when I order it, barring any sudden out of stock situations or me adding more onto my order. Add another 3 business days for getting it shipped out and however long for your shipping method of choice + any holiday or customs delays and that's your arrival date. Definitely feasible, provided you dont cheap out too much on shipping

I've never used taobao before, what SS would you recommend for a relatively small order?
I'm a eurofag so need to be able to mark the value down & would prefer not to pay in dollars so I wouldn't have to be charged for using a different currency twice.
If anyone has any experiences they can share regarding customs charges in the EU (especially regarding things such as package sizes - I guess it would be better value to make a larger order, but I'm afraid that would look a bit suspicious on a hugely marked down package) that would be great too.

It's because Paypal cracked down a while back on bootleg items which caused a lot of SS places to suffer because Paypal refused to let them use their website. (That's why Yoybuy switched to card/money-order only for a while, they couldn't use Paypal)

You should be fine to use Paypal though to buy it. It's like an automatic alert that's kinda wonky where every time I open my cart the alert switches to different items. I think they have it set to keyword recognition or something?

As long as it's not an actual brand bootleg you'll be fine.

I have that same blouse in black and was really pleased with it so figured I'd get another as a wardrobe filler! I'll post pics when it arrives (and/or can take pics of the black if you'd like).
As for the boots, they're from sosic shop, my one true love, so I have high hopes for them. Most of my lolita footwear is from there and I've consistently loved any stuff from them (durable, wonderfully consistent sizing and cushy padded insoles) so fingers crossed for these too!

The preorder just ended, and my ss says it'll take 1-4 months before they ship them out. However, on the listing it says "发货时间

There's a couple of things here.

The first is the charge per kg. For my country the minimum is 1kg, and I'd estimate a headdress to be under 0.5kg. Definitely worth it to throw some small useful items into the order, something like hairpins and hairclips, or paperclips, or silicon cup covers and washing sponges, small-sized things that won't take up a lot of weight or volume, because they essentially ship for free if their combined weight/volumetric weight remains below 1kg.

If you exceed that 1kg weight though, you'll be paying for another 1kg, so it's not worth it to order too much/too big/another dress.

The second is the preorder timing. Even if Dolly Cross is meant to ship out this month, there's always the chance the brand is slow and late. So what I'd recommend is to wait until you get the notice that the headdress has shipped, then go out and find some small objects to pad out your parcel with. Or, have them saved to your cart but wait until the headdress has shipped before you check out the cart. Chose shops that promise to ship within 24 or 48 hours, don't give yourself another headache buying from a lolita shop that might take another month to send you your stuff.

I've been using superbuy for about 2 years now I think, and I've never had a problem. Only issue is that they sometimes overcharge for shipping, which you then have to seek a refund for once you receive your package. Their customer service is also quite good, although expect some broken english, but they're always happy to clarify. I actually use them to buy fake clothes too - not Supreme - and have never had an issue, any flaws that were on a purchase I made in their QC pictures were the same as when I received the item. I've got an elaborate cosplay on the way to them now which they did a good job of helping me purchase too. I've only used Yoybuy, Taobao direct and them, but I would say they're the best option overall.

I try to buy from at least 5 shops to make it worth it, but tbt (and most agent forwarding services I imagine) offer small packet for lighter/smaller packages.
I prefer the forwarding service because I'm usually buying straight from the shops (don't usually have to communicate with them) and find the direct conversion rate with my CC and no SS fees worth it.
Google Translate has gotten me through any problems I have with the seller (sometimes I get sent the wrong item/wrong number of items/something is out of stock), but if that intimidates you, it's better to use an SS. Also, you can't order from secondhand/2.taobao without a Chinese bank account, so you still need an SS for that.

I'm having some major issues with taobaoring. They used to be brilliant but in the last year there has always been some issue with an order. For example we would send the money over via bank transfer only for them to keep asking for us to sent 30 dollars which is supposedly missing.

They've changed their banking system since we last used them and are saying that thepayment is listed under the bank we use, and not a person. I found the Chinese name for the print and Googled it, and that happened to bring up a 2.taobao page with a search bar. Not sure how that worked. Don't take a chance on diamond honey. All of the socks I ordered have transfer from them trying to fold them up before they were dry, and the purse I bought has damaged lining.

My SS sent me pics (for free as always) of my order and i was surprisingly pleased to see there was two cute extra rings, a cute hairpin, that all the colours of my items were just as i hoped, and that i got the two hairclips on the picture of an item when i thought i was just paying for one of them.

Shipping to Europe is so outrageously expensive though. Let's just hope my package reaches me safely.

Got these, everything is nice except for the Diamond Honey dress. It's cute, but the construction is meh and the fabric quality is kind of shitty.
For 40 dollars new I guess it was alright, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again. In comparison I own a Pumpkin Cat dress that cost 30 dollars more and it's far superior with much nicer fabric and construction.

You buy them separately, they're around $10 per one. They have two blouses that match + a JSK and two skirts. They're for sale on the listing for the long sleeved blouse. The ivory is slightly darker than the photos, but matches pretty close to some of my beige IW.

I really like the ruffles on the peter pan collar, thick and wide enough to cover the entire shoulder area. Pretty good for the price. The jabot one ties in the back and the peter pan collar one has a metal clasp in the front and a tie.
