The colorway, the top with the huge ass zipper, the hair that apparently has to resemble the squid on the top of her head, all pointing towards the cosplayer trying to look like pic related. If you want to look like her, do. it. right. WING EYELINER, that's alllll you gotta do to look the slightest bit like the character's makeup.

Well, a lot of cute girls tend to be attention whores (just stating facts, not being salty or anything), and getting attention on instagram can be kinda hard, even if you're cute, because there are thousands of cute girls on there.
At first, just doing cosplay while being cute was enough, but then that became super common as well, so a lot of girls turned to sexy cosplay, and then repeat, that's super common now too
And lately, lolis and lolicons are very accepted and normalized in the weeb community, so when these girls notice that, they just see another way to be more unique and get more attention and followers
Overall, I think normalizing this kind of stuff is absolutely disgusting, and the fact that animes that sexualize children are becoming more and more common makes me want to distance myself from the community, which sucks since I like anime

Red are thin random lines which I expect to be either hairs of her not so brushed wig or lines made by bad editing, green is a random spot I can see how blemished her skin is under the foundation that stops super abrupt, yellow is a double chin but lighting is like it's not double, which looks very odd, and brown is blur from swooping. Not to speak about how her nose and inner corner of her right eye being one big blur.
