Help /cgl/, I cannot for the life of me find what I'm looking for.
I am looking for a bigger oversized zipper like in this pencil case, in the same greenish colour but longer. I've looked for all variations of big/huge/oversized/cartoon zipper that I could think of, but I only seem to find black and white ones.

Any recommendations for pencil tins? I found that they're the most useful to repurpose into small magnetic palettes since they're sturdy and often the right shape. Looking for vintage-y designs in particular.

you need to narrow down what you're looking for and search that way. if you're looking for an a-line skirt, big, pencil, etc. Then order from 'orders' at the top and it'll show which are the most popular/frequently bought and you go through them.

if you're looking for more lolita skirts, I've found lolita doesn't do much and you need to search 'elegant', 'chiffon', 'royal', 'princess', 'vintage', etc. etc. followed by what you're looking for, to find certain items.
After that, click on suggested items and follow them until you start getting more suggestions, that usually leads to better quality items.

not the same anon but I found tons of good reviews striped panties just by searching 'striped panties' and changing the order at the top to show which have been bought the most.

After that you look at reviews with pictures, which there were plenty of. The materials looked good and the panties were cute.
After that, if they're not exactly what you want, add it to wishlist anyways and it'll pop up more suggestions. It's honestly not that hard, and nobody knows what you're looking for exactly except you. There are only so many kinds of striped panties.

The sweater I've been wearing every day at work for a few months, it's very large! the sleeves go a couple of inches past my hands and the sweater ends a little above my knees. All right, I got these and here's my review!

For reference, the set was 7.59 USD, and bought from here:

From the time it was purchased, it took from Jul 29 to Aug18 to arrive to Midwest USA (20 days).

The set as pictured is firstly NOT pearlescent but rather a straight pastel lavender. The brushes seem firmly attached to the base so far with no loose bases (vs a random brush in an ipsy bag which seems tenuously attached to its base for me). They are quite soft to touch. I tried pulling rather aggressively at the brushes and did not have any shedding. However, I have still yet to try them in real life, wash them, etc. so I will update if there is shedding.

(apologies for lighting - it's quite yellow in my bathroom!)

Close up of the brushes.

As you can see from the closeup, they're not particularly dense - I'd say that compared to my other brushes, they'd have the density of a really cheap 'crown' brand set. Even my $3 elf brushes do seem to be denser overall, but it's hard to compare as the heads are bigger too. I really appreciate that the brushes are smaller however as it's hard sometimes to find a smaller contour brush. Again, the brushes themselves are very soft, but the density is not exactly the best.

And finally, comparison to other brushes

From left to right, top to bottom, we have in comparison to the unicorn brushes:

>eco tools blending brush
>nyx 'fluffy packing eyeshadow brush' (tm by me)
>luxie tapered blending brush
>a random ipsy bag small contour brush
>wet n wild unicorn highlighter brush
>elf $3 blush brush

Overall, you can sort of see in comparison to the more well known brands, the unicorn brushes don't really have that density. I compared the same brush which I think is the contour/highlight brush to both a comparably sized contour brush, and the wet n wild brush, and in terms of density, it's much closer to that of the wet n wild brush. I think the wet n wild brush wins out.

For pros, I do appreciate that the blending brush is definitely a bit more concentrated than the luxie counterpart (I have a small crease so it becomes ridiculous when I overstep the crease). The smaller heads overall also are more suited to my face so I think I will enjoy testing them out.

Overall, I think this is a good brush set for the price, but definitely not comparable to other brushes in the market. If you are like me and you tend to hoard brushes, this set will probably be more gimmicky than anything. Still, I think I will get use out of this, especially the small contour brush. Yes, I would buy again given what I know now, but again, it's a 7.59 USD brush set. Still, I think there is value to it even without it being some kind of makeup shelf trophy. And again, opinions will probably change once I use it.

Mini update. Doing a major brush clean earlier than I anticipated since I'm having breakout issues again. Fibers at least did not fall off of the unicorn brushes. I want to give a shout-out review to these wrist length fingerless gloves. I ordered some last October and have used them nearly daily both as art gloves (for a sceen-in tablet) and to cover my wrist braces while figure skating (I’m too ambitious & fall a lot). I now own like six sets in different colors. After nearly a year of frequent machine washing, pilling and loose threads have been fairly minimal, and the first glove just ripped today. For less than $2 I’m pretty damn happy with that.

It says wool but they're definitely cotton. I like them because they're about the same thickness as a store bought machine knit sweater, and don't hamper my fingers with extra bulk, since a lot of cuff style fingerless gloves do still tend to go down over the fingers a bit and impede annoyingly.
