I don't know about the girls in the back, but the girls in the front don't look terribly awful, they just need to learn how to properly balance their outfits:

Girl #1 should style her hair better. I feel like bangs or wavy hair go better with the sweet look. I can't tell what she has on her wrist but she should wear some sort of wristcuffs or bracelets. Get rid of the fugly normie shoes and replace them with tea parties and OTKs or ruffly ankle socks and by my judgement it should look better.

Girl #2 should understand that the dress she's wearing is more on the OTT side, and calls for more OTT accessories. The wig is way too sweet for the color scheme of the dress and she should wear something on her hair that will go with the elegance of the dress, like a bonnet. Tights or OTKS would have gone better with the look and the shoes are passable but I think fancy lolita heels would have suit the look better.

Girl #3 looks a little bit better than the others but at the same time she has a lot of room for modifications as well. Get rid of the crown and replace it with a more high quality version. I think the coat should be buttoned up and instead of wrapping the flag of france across her boobs she should have used a sash instead. The socks look really odd, especially with those wristcuffs in the bottom, and the shoes are too sweet for the coord. Replace the socks with some decent tights and I suggest getting a pair of elegant brown heeled boots or shoes to go with the classic style of the outfit.

She had tons of brand, for one. Personally I think she looked quite pretty when she learned how to pose and smile in photos.

The front middle isn't really ita, just nitpick. The dress is so elaborate and fancy and with barely any accessories and trying to make it casual (hence the ankle socks and no hairbow) it just looks unbalanced. The right is doing some sort of French Revolution thing. The left I'm off put by the shoes. and I don't know what going on for the ones in the back cause I can't see their coords.

Vive La France-chan looks terrible, the white jacket doesn't remotely go with the ivory of her dress. Not to mention she has a violin purse and is using a freaking flag as a sash. Then there's the crown, which doesn't go with the outfit, and her shoes are way too sweet for what she's trying to pull off.

Plus of course, that's her fetish room and we all know it, and we shouldn't all know that.

This is exactly right - we don't want to be part of their exhibitionism. What they role-play as behind closed doors is their business, but we don't want to know about their sex life. Most sensible fetishists don't post about their fetishes in non-fetish spaces.

Seen this girl more often and I love her all gothic looks. I really think this was literally just a daily outfit, and people who wear lolita daily just don't always match literally everything everyday. Like, do you make sure the blue of your jeans comes back somewhere else in an outfit? And the print on your shirt comes back cohesive somewhere else? I'm fine with toned down make-up. Natural make-up is fine. Make-up is needed to make your face not dissapear, not to give it all the colours of your coords. Honestly, I hate how much pretty much all American woman I see have so much make-up. It scares me. Faces always look caked. In Euope it's pretty normal to where no foundation or anything, only correct spots, or only a very thin layer at absolute max, or people will generally think bad of you. That wig however, why could she not have kept some light brown hair I think she has underneath (matching her brows)?

>>9569664
I'm fine with the hair, if it wasn't for her bang looking like they are randomly cut in different lengths. The hair roses don't fit with the dress in colour tho, and she could at least have worn some ankle socks and proper lolita shoes. I think a white, lace cardigan would be nice to cover the shoulders without needing a blouse in this heat?

>>9569853
No not at all. Looks like something synthetic, and cheaper than vinyl. I guess some red, wetlook strechfabric like used in cheapskate fetish items for people who somehow think cheap items can look just as sexy when you have no money and rather buy crap than save up for leather, latex or vinyl.

NAYRT, but I would say detailed anon is right in how to improve these girls. These aren't ALL a "dumpster fire" - centre anon's problem is definitely balancing a co-ord, but doesn't look terrible, just unfinished and unbalanced - and the turquoise on the socks is too bright compared to the mint on the dress. Obviously gets most of what's meant to be in a Lolita outfit, is wearing a petti, and at least tried to harmonise the colours even if the socks are the wrong shade of mint. Wig doesn't look that bad - just new with the curls too tight and the bangs unstyled. I'm pretty sure a matching headbow exists for that dress, that she could wear!

French co-ord is a definite ita, because it's so incoherent, skirt's far to short on her, and the black shorts peeking down. This is the usual Ita problem of having no idea how to put together an outfit that's harmonious and keeps to a theme PROPERLY, just chucking lots of vaguely related ideas together.

Pink girl on the left is also either ita or newbie-tier, due to an ill-fitting, faded replica, and not wearing proper leg-wear or shoes, and not styling her hair nicely. At least it looks like she has a vague idea of what Lolita is supposed to look like - just hasn't got all the necessary components. She'd be better off getting a TaoBao dress or a Bodyline one, and then getting all the necessary secondary pieces - socks, shoes, blouses, wrist-cuffs, etc. I strongly suspect newbie that's trying to get involved before she has all her stuff.

I think seashell lady in the back row has been discussed elsewhere, and we can't get a good look at parasol lolita, but the shoes and wig aren't a good indication.

I don't mean to say all people are fooling themselves if they say they don't dislike black people.

I mean, if you have bad experiences with a group of people, because of stuff that actually happened to you, I think it's stupid to say you have no prejudges about that group. No matter if they are black, emo's, sissies, or whatever. You don't have to act upon it. You can be respectful and give them a change to show your prejudges are wrong. But denying you have prejudges about a group based on experiences because you need to be political correct is just fooling yourself.

Honestly, I have nothing against black people, or any POC people to begin with. I just meant to say that prejudging people is not a bad thing, but randomly being rude to people you don't know because of prejudging is. I have bad experiences with emo's for example, and I think bad about them as soon as I see them. But I won't be rude or mean to them without knowing that particular person.

Thanks for clarifying. I still disagree to the idea that because you met shitty people who fell into the same demographic it's ok not to actively remind yourself not to project that experience onto others of that group. I feel like your solution is don't beat yourself up about the discrimination that is bound to happen, but I think it needs a more active pursuit of shaking off the negative perceptions. I agree that as long as you recognize the difference between your prejudice and your justly formed opinions on a person and act accordingly it's not as big of a deal as many people think it is.

Sad ita for getting off topic.

I imminently imagine him being a DDGL "baby" of someone and then someone told him adult dudes are not welcome if they just come for their fetishes, and then he starts crying and being sad in the corner of the playground like a little child that's been left out XD.

Yeah. prejudging people is an important part of human socialisation. Acting like you don't do it seems foolish to me. But realising you do it, accepting it and keeping it in mind while giving people an honest change to prove you wrong seems more honest to me than simply denying something you do naturally. Even when you know it's not for everyone like that, denying what you actually do feel is just lying to yourself. Nothing wrong with actively reminding you not everyone is like that, there is a reason you should give everyone an honest change, but if you have bad experiences with a certain group, there is nothing wrong with accepting that and be a bit more careful when interacting with said group. Doesn't mean being rude or acting like they are going to do the same. It just means keeping in mind it's quite possible and keep a way of preventing that IF it happens, and otherwise act to this people as if they are just like any other, and just let them be if you have no reason to interact.

The hair is not perfect. She's outside. There is wind blowing it out of whatever style you put it in. She doesn't have dead ends, and her hair shines and is nicely full. Wind blowing it out of perfection doesn't make you have unhealthy hair. I get my hair professionally cared for and it's not shaped perfectly everyday, but still extremely healthy, and when it's humid, I still have loose hairs everywhere. Nothing you do about it beside saving everything off...

So yeah, that's fine. We're not all photo models only sitting inside, being careful about every movement every day because some hair might look not perfect. Even on photoshoot, such hairs are just photoshoped away as part of the retouch. And good quality, realistic wigs do that too...

Regarding the outfit, this isn't Lolita, yet still cute. It's more like a summery outfit with a vaguely vintage vibe than a Lolita outfit. She could definitely learn to do Lolita, I think - the floral skirt, bows, and nice lace on the socks, paired with nice shoes indicates she would likely go for classic style, and pull it off well - just now she looks like a newbie who put together a cute normie outfit to meet up with some Lolitas.

I agree - skirt is too long, and the under-skirt/layer of different fabric is completely unnecessary. The lace at the top of the skirt looks poor quality, and the lace in the middle is in the wrong place. With a print that busy, the skirt needs a simple construction. I don't even have bangs. My hair and my face look horrible with them. My hair is not suited for anything short, but being long it's great. I'm spending a few hundred euro in it every once in a while and having it professionally taken care of. People in continously mistake it for a wig because of how full and healthy it is. But perhaps the fact bangs work so badly on my hair makes me less caring about it. This looks a thousand times better than when I tried bangs. No styling or hairspray saves my hair then. And then people wonder why bodymods have such a bad name...

Seriously, I love tattoo's and piercings (got a piercing myself, tattoo on the way). Don't mind surgery either (see it as a permanent bodymod like tattoos are desu). But why do so many people having them look like they are some scene-kid-gone-wrong-ita instead of someone with good taste? Those piercings make her look so much worse and emo-like. And the tattoo is like an ultimate weeb-sign if that's really a real one...

Looks like a badly altered wedding dress. I'm not even sure what this is supposed to be.

She looks white on the bad Miku cosplay and black on that lolita photo, and the lolia one seems to have more weight too. What happened? No hate, but seriously wondering if it's the photograph or actually a different person.
