As was said the last 100 threads of the same thing: whatever.

How is that bait? That'd be like posting a picture of water and asking if it's wet.

I think OP wants a cougar cosplay thread.

I really don't care. Some of my favorite series were from 5-10 years ago and I just now have the funds to cosplay as my favorite characters, some of whom are several years younger than I am. I know people who are in the same boat as me.

Cosplay as your favorite characters, not the ones that you think you'll look the best as. It's way more fun that way.

I think its fine if they are doing it for fun but if they are trying to become cosfamous or earn patreon bucks...its a weird because they only have a good 5 years to reel in as much as they can before they get too old gross

It would be good if they cosplayed characters their own age if they are trying to be professional but if they are not then who gives a fuck

I'm right there with you.

When I was 20 I lived in apartment and used all my funds just to make it to conventions. 10 years later, I have a garage in my home and have more disposable income. I have the space to paint and work with tools (which I can also now afford) for sewing and crafting with EVA and polyfoam.

I try to cosplay in may age range, but some characters I just wanna do, so I do them. At cons I haven't heard any negativity, only positive comments about how awesome I look even when the character is supposed to be 16-18.
