please stop defending garbage. the other anon is right she looks like shit. she translated a two dimensional design to 3D literally so it looks bad. people arent flat like cartoons so its gonna look bad. if you paint your face stark white without adding any dimension or shadows youre going to look like fool who spilled flour on their face. it doesnt help that white brings out all her imperfections even more. putting lipstick on just her upper lip is another mistake that that she took from the cartoon. that method is a drawing shortcut to not have to define lips. it doesnt work in real life, she shouldve just put the lipstick all over lips. it wouldve looked better. the wig also looks very greasy, dirty and flat. shego has voluminous thick hair, which is very much achievable in real life with the right styling techniques. overall this is a bad cosplay even though the suit is the only thing that looks right its not enough to rescue the failure of all the implemented elements.

Wigs still aren't necessary. Most characters have straight or slightly wavy hair. Not going to get into why they do, but the point is anyone can straighten their hair. Wigs are good if you want outlandish colors for the character, can't grow your hair fast enough, or if it's like Yu-Gi-Oh where it's simply not possible. There are times when wigs are mandated for the character. But, if you're cosplaying Wonder Woman, and you have black hair, you don't need a wig. Or if you're cosplaying D.Va and you already have long brown hair.

Makeup only makes you look better if you know how to apply it. Otherwise, you can kill a costume. If you don't know makeup, don't apply it. Also, I feel bad for people with greasy skin. Maybe if they took care of their skin, they wouldn't have to worry about being shiny.

These things usually don't have an effect on the costume and you'll look fine with or without them. Not wearing a wig or makeup won't kill a costume.

Yknow what she makes me so annoyed as someone who is really is Asexual. There are different spectrums but in no way does Asexual mean you don't understand the idea of what sexy is and you have no romantic preference. I'm not interested in sexual activities but I understand what society deems sexy and other's need for it. I also am interested in people for who they are but I'm never attracted to them physically.
