Sad that LoL threads always die. I guess it's cause when you have a hundred super simple Jinxs, or heck even a dozen Arcade Mode Riven has become old hat (you just need some green shorts and a fingerless glove. Look guys! I'm top lane!), you aren't impressed unless you see something super rare that's ALSO really good quality? I also find LoL cosplayers trigger my biggest pet peeve 99% of the time and it's having weapons be 10 times the size of their bodies. I once saw a pretty awesome Soraka, she even had the hooves boots with the backwards knee, very cool. But her staff was ten feet and was the width of a refrigerator. I was so irked, I got cramps.

Kinpatsu is very talented but god I wish she'd learn to do her makeup differently. She does the EXACT same look for everyone and it totally throws off her execution. With the right makeup, this would've been perfect. She's so set on doing that weird kind of gradient liner all around her eyes. It doesn't work for her.

Xayah's eyes should be slightly hooded and slanted. I just wish somebody would tell her and give her some makeup tips.

Anon you're trying to hard to sound like you have a point. There's plenty of DotA cheracters that are "humanoid" that you can cosplay. Just like there's just as many non humanoid cheracters in league of legends that are seemingly impossible to cosplay. DotA just doesn't have people who want to cosplay. The game isn't as popular as league of legends and doesn't have the same cosplay pull or appeal.

but as someone who tried both I was really turned away by how dull the characters in DotA were - and their palettes were all very boring and kinda just one or two colours. One thing Riot does really well is put personality into their characters and (usually) a lot of thought into their base designs and then the skin variations on top of that instead of like "this one is gonna be red."

Those are all pretty uncommon, mostly because they aren't human shape, they're complicated, or just plain unpopular.

You could also try some of the less popular skins on popular champions like PAX TF, junkyard trundle, medieval twitch, grey warwick, etc etc etc

I've cosplayed the cinematic version of ahri and I do it because she's one of my mains. Her story doesn't really give her much personality nor do her voice lines in game but I think this actually helps because people can fill in the gaps with what they think she's about. DotA2 has more personality/character -because- it's less bombastic, but it's not cosplay material sort of character, you're right there.
A lot of the characters are ugly, a lot of them are monsters- and ones that don't LOOK cool either, so no one will cosplay them.

The game is fairly short on female characters as well, so unless you're a giant of a dude with a chewed up face and 24 pack abs then you have something like three characters to cosplay.
