I know this probably sounds terrible but thinking of someone using a guitar as just a prop like that makes me incredibly worried about the guitar. Who did they get it from? Are they borrowing it? What's going to happen to the poor thing when they're done with it? Are they just going to keep it stuffed away in a closet without a case in a room not temperature and humidity controlled? It just makes me feel terrible thinking about an instrument like that. All instruments deserve to be played and cherished, not just used as a prop once and then resigned to a life of uselessness. I hope maybe they picked it up a bit or resold it to be used by someone again. Is this irrational to think? Has anyone who's used an instrument as a cosplay prop have stories of what they did with it after? I'm sad now.

I'm a member of a couple of band game fandoms and no one really uses real guitars. Most people make their props since they're very series specific and even if it's someone that uses real guitar parts and it can be tuned, I've never seen anyone add electronics or anything to make a properly functioning electric guitar.

I was under the impression that the guitar in question was more of a collector than it really was, since generally stateside the only Tokai stuff I've seen was from their replicas and pretty damn expensive. I incorrectly assumed it was in the same price range. Just was irked about the thought of collector/vintage guitars being left for dead in a closet somewhere. Thanks for the reply though.

try finding some plain brown lace up boots on amazon, and adding the red fur and button on your own, it should be easy with some basic sewing skills, and much cheaper, plus you can always take the fur off later and wear them with normie clothing.

Yes, I know, another "help" post but...anyone here has any idea of how should I approach that collar in pic related? The only thing I can think of is to laser-cut but I don't have the tools for it nor a place in my region who does that and I'm afraid to screw it up. Any option that doesn't include laser-cutting the fabric?

Both. I reached a point in my cosplay life where I tend to like charas that resemble me or I can pull off more. This said, Pana and Nozomi are my most cosplayed raibus, but I also have some Honks and Kotoris in my plans. As for LLS, I think I suit Mari the most, and I like her and her outfits so I'll go for her (Riko is a fav too but I don't like most of her outfit variations).
